I still think the charts will be most changed after the official CD has been released next Monday

Strange as it is, on other language forums i checked , of course that's only eurofans but they said as sweden won just few years ago, they won't vote for the country as they have other favorites. So i'm doubting for a Swedish win, don't know why. Like, if it's the only favorite for someone they of course will vote for Sweden but if someone has like two favorites and only one vote, they'll maybe vote for the one who's not Sweden cause of that fact. it wouldn't be a problem if Sweden was the big and only winner (as it was in 2012 or even Denmark in 2013) but there are a lot of people having different favorites more than ever (i just watched 10 different top 40 on youtube and i felt on 6 different n°1! sometimes Estonia or Sweden outside the top 10) so there's really no clear winner this year. Maybe a 2003 victory? (or maybe we're wrong and we'll have a runaway winner among them : Azerbaijan, Sweden, Italy, Estonia, Slovenia (? - or the most favorites this year)

I have a different theory of why Sweden won´t win this year. Obviously, the song has already many fans and media support (like all that articles dedicated to Eurovision in general, but published with Mans Zelmerlow on a title picture etc.), some of them talking about it as if it already won, and it´s clear that Heroes will be an international hit, no matter how they will finish in Eurovision. Consequences? Even some fans of the song won´t vote for it, saying to themselves "this will qualify/win anyway, with or without my money". So, I believe this will happen in May:

yes it could happen too… but the difference is that ESC is one time in a year. I mean if you like the song even if it's a "winner" you'll vote for it. maybe not in the SF , you're right, but in the final… mmh unpredictable. Or a mix of what i think and what you think Ritararita : People will think that some already voted for Sweden so they could vote for someone else. But i still think people WILL vote. And if it's the only winner for them, they'll vote anyway.

Sweden is not going to be a runaway winner. That mediocre song is being way too overhyped by some fans!

I don´t think there is many in here that actually believes that. This ia wide open year. I would be very satisfied if we can reach top 5.

I think Sweden can win obviously, but it would be close, it wouldn't be something like 2012 again.

I think Sweden and Italy will be in top 3... and Russia can win it again!

To be honest here, I said Italy early, but I don't know anymore. Everyday my top 5 changes, but there is one country that is almost always there...and it is Russia.

After seeing live performances with her I am even more sure that Russia will be up there..and it is a song that many people may like in the end, thanks to Polinas charisma and voice. It is also a song that has similarities both to Azerbaijan 2011 and UK 1997, likeable songs that captures many peoples heart. Enough to win? Not sure, but don't be surprised if we end up with Saint Petersburg 2016 or something.

It´s quite provoking sending a song about peace with the actions going on in :ua: which forced them to withdraw from this years contest, will most people see behind that and vote for the song ? I have no idea. That´s one of the factors that can ruin :ru: winning chances for sure

Russia won't win, although it will definitely place very high ( somewhere around 5th I think). About winning, I'd still Estonia is the front runner but the performance will be crucial there.

Yep, Stig really needs to sing better now in ESC, otherwise :ee: is likely to be the favorite that flops.

I would say that :it: chances are depending on the performance as well especially with the official video they have. Remember that :am: had a simular video last year and the decision to have Aram alone on the stage were not that good.

That was one of the factors that made Aram finish on 4th place despite being a high favorite before the ESC-week.

I hope :it: not fall in the same trap since their song is one of the best songs this year, maybe even the best one

I even want to place :se: on that list, not because of the performance overall but for the choir arrangement, I wonder how they have solved that little problem. I guess we find out on 14th May
