Who will qualify from Semi Final 2

Well I haven't heard any of the songs in either semi-final yet, so can't make a prediction. However the running order of the semi-finals has now been decided.

The running order for semi-final 2 is: Lithuania, Ireland, San Marino, Montenegro, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Czech Republic, Israel, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Iceland, Sweden, Switzerland, Cyprus, Slovenia, Poland.

Will the running order affect which ten countries go through? Wouldn't the occurrence of a thrash metal song, or an up-beat dance-along (adult kids' Boogie Beebies big video) immediately after a sombre ballad (or vice versa) make one stand out above the other and influence whether or not one or the other goes through?

Semi 2 is definetly lots stronger this year. I literally feel like almost anyone could qualify.
But I'm going with



I would rather see or qualify instead of Iceland though.. could happen. I'm hopeful about as well, but I'm really not sure.

well agree with you their. Norway top 5 in juryvoting perhaps top 3 i guess. Iceland more like 6 to 8 in jury but top 5 in public i think.

Norway is a jury friendly country.
We dont the same thing about Czechia.

- Nice song, wonderful stage presentation, charming singer. + this is Sweden
- will perform last and jury will help us a bit.
- good song and draw.
- beautiful ballad. This is sure qualifier.
- because this is Azerbaijan.

- I hope jury can help them.
- 50/50. Scandinavia will push it further.

Everyone else will be surprising qualifier for me:

- Sleeping pill. Will be hard to survive 3 minutes of this. Even jury cannot save Cyprus. They tried to create a masterpiece and unfortunately failed.
- 50/50. I think it won't qualify.

I really dont know what you mean by "Norway is a jury friendly country". Remember Tooji? Stella? I think it has had more to do with the actual songs. The entries that the Czech Republic have sent so far in the competitions havent been neither jury-friendly nor televoters-friendly...

I both think and hope that there will be room for both the Czech Republic and Norway in the final.

It was the tone-death televoters that saved Tooji. As has been said; Tooji was LAST in the juries. But the televoters managed to place him 6th, and poor Sofi only 9th. Both were judged hard by the juries - Tooji even more so.
