FYI whoever it was who said the weird faces Olly and the dancers were pulling whilst ‘upside down’ - they cut that from today’s dress rehearsal!

Idk if any of you have seen the BBC iPlayer show about Ollys journey to Eurovision, but it's great watching and quite insightful into the process of how the staging come together and the Ollys thoughts over certain issues.

Also, I showed one of my older work colleagues the 2nd rehearsal clip and she was taken aback by it, said some colourful words and then laughed. Then 20 minutes later randomly come up to me and said it reminds her of "that gay group from the 80s" which turned out to be the petshop boys.

I forced my boyfriend to watch it with me yesterday and even he (a Eurovision sufferer every year bc of me) liked it and likes our song and staging concept! And he's not a devil worshipper either ;)

Yeah, watched it today and thought it was great. Should've probably been on BBC One in the run up to Eurovision week, but Brits can't vote for their own entry I guess so all the same.

Great insight to the concept of the staging and what makes Olly tick - we need more of this each year, it is great to see the increased activity from BBC in relation to ESC.

I'm still keeping my expectations modest for this entry - I've seen a few scoreboards from ESC blogs and YouTubers that had Dizzy coming out around the 15th place mark which is where I expected this one to land after the song dropped (Lucie territory). Juries ranked it slightly higher than public, but who knows if that might change following the reaction to the staging.

Also, I wonder how our staging might affect the placement of this entry in the running order. They mentioned in that show that they struggled to get the "box" down to the maximum weight requirements given by SVT, so I wonder if it might be like a Loreen panini maker situation and get us a slot after a break to give extra time to get it on the stage...

I doubt we'll be 2nd since Sweden has the moving walls, so I suspect an entry with lighter or no props filling that 2nd slot.

I hope he can pull off the vocals when it counts. I have been hearing mixed things. And I am more worried about that than if people find the staging a little too spicy.

I've now seen the final minute on how it looks on television. Olly looks like the ultimate, professional popstar, he makes everyone else in the competition look like amateurs compared to him.

I watched the full performance from yesterday, hello this is so good! I was gagged the whole time! How could they manage to perfectly conduct the staging? And it is not "soft porn" or offensive assomany people on social media have claimed. Thedancers facial expressions were cheeky and funny. Not sexual or vulgar at all. It's mild. The only problem here is Olly's vocals.

If you get offended by TEDUNI DOMKING's performance, you shouldn't watch Eurovision at all.

I don't want to ruin the enthusiasm of Olly's fans but I don't see anything sensational. I feel like I'm watching a show in the same vein as Jorge González. This is just Bubble material.

Managed to see the full performance and I'm very pleased with how it all looks. If Olly nails it vocally on Saturday we should be at least left-side which is a big result for the UK still!

I have watched the jury show performance. The staging is definitely good, very Brit award style.
And that middle 8 part didn't stick out like a sore thumb.
But I am surprised Olly sounded pretty weak. He was almost breathless towards the end. Hopefully, he will be able to do it in the finals where it matters.
