This sounds like half of what get played on radio 1 and I mean that in a derogatory manner
We have the first snippet!!!! Sounds really modern and exicting
The biggest issue with "I wrote a song" IMO was the live, and so far I expect Olly to handle that better.
The snippet does what it's supposed to do: it makes me curious to hear the whole thing. And it sounds like it good lend itself well to a stylish live performance. So for now, I'm excited for it.
Ι dont think her vocals were the only issue, I get it for the jurors but televoters dont care about that as the cha cha cha success in tele prove lol. She had a song that was radio friendly, catchy and pleasant but it didnt have the cool factor to make you vote for it
It's not the only issue I agree, but I do think it was the biggest one. I also think Mae lacked a certainly... security and playfulness (likely caused by not being secure enough in her vocals) that made the performance the performance Lack the neccessary charm.
Basically, "I wrote a song" was better in Studio, while I expect Olly to be better live. I don't think Mae could have won, but with a strong performance she could have placed waaay higher IMO.
Don't think Harry was referring to you buddy - more the trolls on the BBC reel that are just doom and gloom constantly anytime Eurovision is mentioned!I'm not hating or dooming or anything. For me i wasn't particularly moved by the snippet but its impossible to form an actual opinion of what the entire song is like in any capacity. The list is endless of snippets that have been dragged through the mud and then everyone ended up loving the whole song and vice versa.
Yup! It’s like they pop up once or twice a year when our song gets announced, and normally their profile picture consists of a British bulldog, a pint of beer or a pro-brexit banner. Really does make you laugh!Don't think Harry was referring to you buddy - more the trolls on the BBC reel that are just doom and gloom constantly anytime Eurovision is mentioned!
