Lorraine's lack of Eurovision knowledge really frustrates me.

It's not a typical Eurovision song at all
Ukraine aren't guaranteed another win

It's not the first time Lorraine sounded clueless when it comes to Eurovision. But hey, at least it's a platform for the UK representative to promote their song.

Lorraines yet another rich person who dodges taxes. She got away with paying a whole heap of tax by saying she's a freelancer theatrical artist who is acting as herself on her talk show and not an actual employee of ITV presenting a show which would have subjected her to a load of income tax. Her Eurovision opinions are trash, and so are her tax dodging morals.

edit: Mae is also in the next 30 minutes or so going to be doing an interview on ITV news about going to Eurovision.

Wasn't Lorraine the presenter on that Eurovision show with Jemini on it where they'd review the other acts that year and someone said that Turkey's act looked like a stripper?

Sorry for the double post but some news: Muller's song charted this week. Entering into the UK top 40 at number 30. Which is better than Ryder who only made it into the top 40 after the contest last year. And this is the first time since Blue in 2011 that a UK act has entered the top 40 ahead of the contest.

I imagine Sam is part of the reason the song had so much exposure this year. Mae had a BBC show and it was added to loads of playlists which has all helped. Unlikely it will peak as high after the contest.

She's posted a rehearsal clip on Tiktok, apparently someone who did Little Mix choreography is working on ours, also one of the backing dancers from Spain last year is part of the team - hes even in the MV.

Also the music video is MTV UK's 'most wanted' mv of the week. Whatever that means.

I saw a spanish person complain about Mae Muller stealing that dancer from Chanel as if he can only work for Chanel for the rest of his entire life, poor man only be able to work for Chanel and her two songs

Looks like this year's act is going to have more dancing than all the UK's other acts over the past twenty years combined.

I am fast becoming a huge Mae Muller fan love her interviews...her other music her personality. I sort of hope that regardless of the result Eurovision is reframed in the UK as an opportunity to celebrate our own talent and maybe even accelerate careers.

I hope people wont let this flop just because UK hosts this year, she deserves top 10
I don’t think she will flop, as long as they don’t mess with the performance. However, she has direct competition on her field, which may cause division when voting.

Saying that, she can either slay and be in the top 10 or be in the middle of the table, but not last for sure.

A-lister's annual review:

UK is in it with a bop, I honestly don't get the criticism this is getting? It's a really catchy dance-Pop song ready for the radios and clubs this summer, what more can we ask for? Is it very original? Nope, but it is in Eurovision context well produced and modern enough in its genre which can't be said about the average ESC entry. It's also a bit tongue-in-cheek and quirky which helps it from taking itself too seriously and works in its favor. This is maybe not very up-to-date, but then again contemporary and modern enough for Eurovision standards. It's a bit British dance-Pop mixed with Romanian dance-Pop, and it works. I for one find this better than last year (although I can see why this might not do as good, but still). All in all a solid job UK, and considering how most of the British entries have sounded the last decades this is still in its own league.
