Its nice! Certainly better than what I was expected and better than what UK sent in the last years ( Sam aside).
I have a feeling its not going to be great live tho, sounds more like a radio song that a stage track.

It's very catchy, I like it. And yes, better than what the UK has sent over the years. I have a soft spot for James Newman though. I don't know if she's good live, but with a good performance I don't see bottom five. Nice host entry :7:

Ngl I get the disappointment, because it was kind of inevitable with the names being thrown around and the chorus (which was essentially the snippet) being truthfully a bit underwhelming, but as a whole package this can really do things! I see massive staging potential and the Production is still really strong. I am not 100% sure about this but I‘ll give it a 10 for now and see if it holds up to that upon multiple listens

At least this entry is within the pop genre (not much of that this year). But it's not exactly a ground-breaking composition. I can't see it competing with Finland, Norway or Sweden. In fact, the song she wrote could easily finish outside top 20. It's a 5 from me.

Maybe as 37 year old man I’m being too critical on this, I guess it is the kind of song scorned teenage girls (and maybe some boys ;))will mime along to on TikTok whilst putting their make up on and trying on different outfits getting ready to go out and find another fboy. Times do move on lol.

Upon first listen it felt like a sped up version of Blanka, ....but hopefully with better live vocals and stage presence? Nah, not for me... 3.

The title is terrible, I expected another version of "That's How You Write A Song". But it's actually pretty good, in this year it's quite outstanding actually. I'm glad the UK continues to send competitive, contemporary songs and not X-Factor winners' rejects

God, this song is making 7 year old me inside myself scream of happiness. It is so Spice Girls inspired, but with a modern production. The chorus is an earworm, stucks like glue, and already on 2nd chorus I know the words. Sure, this probably won't reach top 10, but this is not a song to be ashamed of though, this is a gooooood song! One of my top faves this year. Sorry about it, but this slays, best UK song in 25 years! xdance2xdancexheya

Because it’s 2:44 in length I hope they have something up their sleeve for the live show to enhance it on stage like they did with Sam and the guitar solo
If you're writing a Eurovision song, use the whole 3 minutes...if you cannot, your already at a disadvantage.

I think the song is fiendishly catchy. One listen was all it took and I remembered the whole of it.

I'm suffering from the opposite effect right now, I've listened to it three times and I can't remember anything lol. instead i remember phenomen phenomenal

The song is catchy!
However, juries wont go crazy about it and I wonder, does this have something that will make the televoters go crazy like Finland? Not seeing it
Predicting 12-20 at this moment, it is not a bottom 5 entry.
:7: points from me, I feared it was going to be annoying and trashy and its not.

Somehow I'm thinking if this is made in Serbian it would blend well in the lineup of PZE

I really like the chorus here but I wish the verses were stronger

Nice song overall, :7:

@the bold part: Urmm, like no? The Spice Goddesses would never release such average song back in the day.
This is more Sophie Ellis-Bextor meets Anne-Marie.
