What on earth is Crystal Ball doing? Is he failing his job?
He's failed to leak some of the recent internal selections like Netherlands or Israel, I guess it's more that internals are harder to figure out AND get a leaked copy of the song.

To be fair, the new song she's trailing (instead I wrote a song) is a total guilty pleasure style bop, but I don't think it's the statement of intent we need so I hope it's not her.

She only has one of her own songs eligible, and a TikTok snippet, and a Sigala feature out today.
I won't be mean about her music, but I will say if TaP did select her I'd be mightily confused, just not a good pick when there are 100's of other unsigned talents also without a platform pushing out very good music, there is no real evidence to suggest it's her either (apart from visiting the BBC, which all our rumoured acts have done). Twitter seems to think she might be a red herring sent in a message by BBC folk to lots of UK fans.
It's absolutely going to be someone of that Mimi/Rina size, not too big, just big enough to get a 'Best New Artist' nom at the BRITs.
The Mimi song is spectacularly mid (though a huge improvement from the MM name rumoured), and besides that music video already launched on her own YT channel so it's not the song. If it was Mimi, we'd know it when we hear the song. Somewhere in that Roles Reversed vibe, or the Raincatchers song. We'll know it when we hear it.

Just listened to it, it's very BBC at Eurovision isn't it, not sure imo, I think it'd get lost and underperform.

The only artist that hasn't revealed new music yet but has also talked about a new era is Rina Sawayama. She's just finished her tour for her Hold the Girl album, so I can definitely see her moving on from that and possibly focusing on her new material now.
I'm more inclined to see Rina Sawayama not using a song from her previous album or anything from that era if she's going to Eurovision, I'd prefer it to be fresh new music from her.
