yeah - you're right here but it seems that the bookies going more bach to france,switerland and diversity.
breaking news - go_a now over 5 millions hits - that's a lot for this country.
I can't at France or Switzerland winning this year, since the juries were brought back I really have a nightmare Eurovision will look like big parts of 70's-00's when conservative ballads that sounded like they were three decades late mostly won (but only if they were in English, French or Italian).
Portugal currently being in top 10 in the final odds is yet another sign we have to get rid of juries in ESC asap !!

Go_A just gets staging. No matter the version of Shum it is so well presented.
I thought the performance on the night was great, staging was good also I can see why this got through. The song is very popular around Europe already looking at the latest chart positions. 2nd Half of the final also position 19 should see a firm top 10 for Ukraine.
The running order won't matter at all for them. They will have no problem shining out, even if they perform at #2 and between two mega bops.
I just checked Turkish social media comments, and Ukraine seems to be the main favorite here.

I feel like the only person who thinks the song is decent but doesn't like the staging. The taste level is highly questionable and it reads as kitschy/trying to go viral to me. I would have preferred they went with a cooler, more high quality and refined aesthetic.
That said, I think this type of staging does appeal to televoters (clearly the fandom loves it) and will ultimately nab them a decent placement in the final.

Help! Centuries later, I am seeing the light regarding "Shum"... 
I could not connect with it when it was released, then with the brilliant live performance it started making sense for me, and now I realise what I was missing... DANG UKRAINE! Liked "Solovey" at first listen last year, but this is next level.

I was not a fan of the first version of Shum at all, but the Eurovision performance just works. Love the closing with the sun (atomic blast?) thing. Well done Ukraine, and best of luck.
