I'm pretty sure about it. No matter what Ukraine has Soviet and Balkan blocks this year. West and North aren't indifferent either.

I mean, the applause after the semifinal performance from Ukraine was almost longer than Finland 2015

I kinda agree on this. But this year we have a variety of different genres.
And we have lots of bands at the top, which adds so much quality to the contest. Every band this year qualified for the Grand Final, except Denmark, unfortunately.
If Go_A wins, i hope it will inspire other countries to go back to the roots, bring their traditional sounds to the contest.
Also it will embrace EDM at Eurovision. Because JOWST (which i loved in 2017
) already said they'd come back to Eurovision if Go_A wins.But most of all i hope that Italy-France-Switzerland-Ukraine at the top will persuade singing in national languages and that's what i think Eurovision should be about.
@A-lister what's your opinion on originality of this year's songs and our perspectives here?

You make an important point about native languages, this could (if we're lucky) be the first time where native language entries rock the top. 10 and this would mean alot for the contest and coming back to its roots a bit and stop being this "MF-clone" but encourage broadcasters to pick more authentic entries
Hmm, in general this year? Ukraine, Russia and Italy serve the most original entries in this year's edition hands down, I am also a sucker for ethno-bops (although I know that they might not be very original in Eurovision terms, but for sure more original in the bigger scale of things compared to MF rejects and wannabe Americanized radio Pop from 2005 or Disney ballads
).

It's thrilling to witness Go_A gaining momentum at the right time, pipping the 2020 and 2021 pre-contest favourites alike at the post with a performance we never knew we needed.
It's like stars are aligning for them somehow. And what a piece of art.
They have already done enough to deserve every point they'll get tomorrow. I cannot wait for the Shum tidal wave to turn Europe upside down.
