Honestly. She has no reason to be bitter about anything. The jury was behind her each time she took part. Not their fault she can't charm the televoters.
I do hope she reconsiders her stance though. I'd like to see her on the ESC stage.

With Verka on the juryboard voting with what in his pants rather than with the brain and the legions of teenage girls voting "en masse" for the "cutest guy", then she could never compete with that, hopefully the flop of Mélovin and Verka pushing such nonsense acts like Mountain Breeze (and of course adding the flop in 2017) will make them re-think. I doubt they want to flop third time in a row. I hope Verka will be fired from the jury finally, he adds drama for the viewers, but it's clear his mind is not on the songs/acts rather other things when he votes.

I don't know anyone around me who likes Tayanna. Most of people don't know who she is or just don't care. My grandma is annoyed at how agressively he's pushed lately into music channels and mass media. She likes neither her songs nor her look.
I understand Tayanna being disappointed but she has only her team to blame on not taking it two years in a row. And I don't think being third by public is bad result. She definitely has her own audience, it's just not massive love. Melovin despite "flop" will have his career up, I'm happy for him.
Hopefully next year DakhaBrakha shokingly for everyone enters Vidbir.

I'm not the one who votes only for being cute! As well as [MENTION=12992]Fierro[/MENTION]. Did she try to compete with a better song with not so tacky performance & not going full mess with a song change in the lastminute moment before the deadline?
And she still received the highest points from the jury. Both times.
And they still stayed in the NF semis.

Oh come on. 1.8 million views is pretty good. I consider anything over 1 million for a Ukrainian performer to be pretty great.

If he was biased he would have put her at the last or 2nd last place. The same is about Mélovin, Verka awarded him the highest points but 2 jurors brought him the 2nd place - it's not that they hated his entry.
I don't care about the juries &producers running order anymore. 17 zeroes for Jamala, the last place for Mélovin... 0 pts for 2019 entrant no matter whom we choose? 0 pts for Tayanna? 0 pts for the Hardkiss? I wouldn't be surprised
Knowing the results wouldn't changed my opinion. I would still voted for him in the Vidbir 2018.

Well, maybe no one you know, but it doesn't change the fact that she had two hit songs in less than a year (while some bigger more established names like for instance Nastya Kamenskih is struggling with her solo career) and seems to be the rising star in Ukrainian music if you add music awards, YT plays, show appearances etc.
Whether one likes her or not it's personal taste, but I see a singer that is on international level here, but we have the same thing in Sweden where some local acts who don't have the same potential gets favored while the ones with all the potential gets overlooked. I think it's a weird European mentality where we root for the mediocre rather than the professionals. Sometimes I wished we had a more American approach in some ways.
Anyways, I'm curious what they'll do in 2019, for sure they need to re-think the strategy because coming from being one of the most successful countries in ESC to sending two mediocre entries in a row now that rightfully flopped, they can't continue with the current approach. Vidbir 2018 had some pretty good entries, and I can think of at least some (including Tayanna) that would have been better choices, but either there is something in the voting system or the juries (or both) or selection of entries that needs to be looked into and adjusted if they want to keep this format, otherwise I think going back to internal selection might be a better option.
