Come to think of it, maybe it was good for the Ukrainian broadcaster's budget that she didn't win the selection in 2018 after all, because she could potentially have ended up winning whole Eurovision.
I now even have my doubts she would qualify...
we all know tayanna is gonna lose to kadnay this time, waiting for 2020
Oh no not them, we want Ukraine back on track, not off track...
Anyways it all depends on where Ukraine ends up this year I think, if they end up midscore (which I somehow think they will), I think they will reevaluate the last two years and go back to something that actually works for them.
Hopefully she stays in the semi.Hopefully Tayanna will represent Ukraine this time

Badoev and her stylist will ruin her entry one more time and biased juries will give us another shitload of 0's with her being the queen of the televote which won't save her.
Nah. Because having so many biased 0's from the juries won't let her in the top 10Yeah, because being top. 10 in ESC would have been worse than bottom.10 right?
Everywhere I go people talk about the juries. There's no point in sacrificing few months of your life & your career for 10th - 26th places or even not qualifying.Okay, now that we got rid of Melovin, bring in the Hardkiss

Everywhere I go people talk about the juries. Not any single established performer will agree to take part in ESC now, imo.

Internal selection please.
This new Vidbir, while featuring some interesting new acts, is only 1 out of 3. And, honestly, they really lucked out with Jamala and Hardkiss the first year. None of the other acts in all three years would be a contender for the victory. I don't even know if anyone would even manage Top Ten from this year. Maybe Babkin? And as much as I love Verka, Danylko has no business being on the jury. Neither does Jamala tbh.
The Hardkiss or Khrystyna Soloviy.
Babkin top. 10? I'm telling you, Tayanna would be top. 10, she's slaying the stage and unlike acts like Eleni, she is so strong live while shaking her but off. Babkin, with the entry he had this year, would be Ukraine's first NQ.
I think something like Constantine could do well though, but he seemed to be vocally off (or too nervous?), but yeah that type of entry could go down well with juries in ESC if performed well.
I agree that it's time for an internal selection again tbh. Vidbir was quite an alright selection in 2016 and 2018, there were some good entries, but like you said only few that would make it in ESC (in 2017 not even a single entry, I know Tayanna was rooted on back then as well, but her entry was just too clichéd unlike her 2018 that was actually effective).
