In that case, what a saddening result it was last year when Armenia did not win over Sweden. Now, at last, I realize. Thank you for opening my eyes.

Please stop engage politics if somebody dislikes Sergey's song. I know some forum members are known to be very Russia-unfriendly but as Sergey stays bookies favourite to win he'll be very gossiped person.

I appreciate Jamala for telling the tragic story of her family. Unfortunately her family was not the only one that was affected by the old regime. Let's hope this will never happen again. 1944-1989 was a dark period for Eastern Europe in general and we must remember what happened. Eurovision is the perfect stage for that message. The West and those who were outside the Iron Curtain need to understand what Ukraine and Eastern Europe went through, why we fought so much and why we must never go back to that dark and horrible place where we were.
