I don't know if she was having vocal issues but her voice is rather whiny and annoying in her performance.

The song has a catchy rhythm but all in all there isn't really much of a song there.

Apparently she had a throat problem so maybe that's why?

Okay, I am so disappointed Ukraine...why didn't you send a Male vocalists? C'mon it was time.......bummer

But nevertheless, this song is quite epic. First of all, her vocals are AMAZING and while the song my be slightly repetitive, it's catchy and fun and the contest needs songs like this. Clear qualifier at this point and I wish Ukraine the best of luck. I'm between 8 & 10 points but ended up giving 10...Definitely in my top 3 so far.

This would be a great song to start the show actually so a Draw in spot 1 would be appropriate and beneficial.

01 I find it hard to believe Ukraine is sending this.

This is the first time since Ukraine joined the contest i feel they have a song with no quality and/or no appeal. And this look unprofessional

It looks like a song Belarus would send!

I didn't like the sand girl and be my valentine but this is abyssal !

lil' excerpt of Zlata (in a bad quality). She was divine!

wondering if she has no "voice" as well

ps. NTU president was visibly impressed in the end. Hope they have enough courage to choose her internally in 2013.

Some days after Eurovision,Ukraine will host Euro2012,and this song IS FOR THIS PURPOSE!
Whats so harm with it?Its not like habba habba, its kind of like Ale ale France 2010,who many of you adored.
Also this woman was sick and almost not taken part to the final...
so please dont hurry up to blame her and the song.
I wish Ukraine GOOD LUCK to Baku.
Congratulations for your decision.

Source: Press conference.
The NTU bosses confirmed that she really had problems with vocals and they thought about withdrawal.
Gaitana is going to collaborate with NTU (as always).

Walid said that he has remarks about everything except vocals. Meaning that they will work a lot on her ESC performance.
Gaitana said that most def there won't be backing vocalists in Baku. Maybe the arrangement will be improved.

They confirmed that the winner could perform as a guest @Sanremo final, unfortunately because the final was postponed all plans were screwed.

So far they haven't been discussing anything because they didn't know who'd win.
In a week they will have meetings as for her performing @ESC, song, promo tour etc. There will be a promo tour.
Walid said that he will organize her performance in France for sure.

ps. I agree with her. The sound was awesome (for the 1st time :/, previous NFs were horrible)

Neither Rihanna, nor Lady GaGa, nor Britney are my cup of tea. I don't like them at all, I don't listen to their music, but I don't have to care about them in terms of Eurovision. Why do they matter here?

They know how to make a big choreography on crappy songs.

I go for Adele, or Florence & the machine, if you want to know what kind of female artists I prefer.

Adele is a poor man's Alison Moyet and drifts in and out of tune live. Having suffered the wretched Florence live, I don't understand your bitching about singers with no voices and big stage acts to cover up their vocal inadequacies. People only see what they want to see.
If your song is mediocre - as most will be in Eurovision - then bring on a show. I want to be entertained.
