Re: UKRAINE 2012

In other words it will be Max

Didn't we pass this stage of sure winners last year, where most people said "In other words it will be Jamala/Zlata". Don't underestimate the passion of some fanclubs, families and certain businessmen to manipulate voting.

Actually I'm talking about say.tv...

oh, and I hope that we will pass the stage of ridiculous theories about manipulation, I know better than you how we choose our entry. Thanx.

AlekS, is it 50/50 SMS and the jury voting in the final? I wonder what are chances for Max Barskih since I know the jury doesn't seem to support him much :(

Vice president of NTU posed with Badoev family, happy/smiling etc  =)))
I think it just proves that this is another planned fuss by NTU, lulz.

Since 2010 it's never clear who will be the winner. Gaitana can win the televoting but it depends if she really wants to go and she doesn't support Badoev/Arfush actually  NTU could invite her just for promo.
Nobody knows and whatever happens.

ps. We haven't heard the wildcard's song btw. It's called "Just a Dream". I have no high hopes but still they can surprise.

no need to be rude. I meant Mika's win last year, not a theory. And I don't see why somebody can't use that to drive out a certain competitor through say.tv selection. At least it's cheaper than army of sms volunteers )))

Nobody's rude to you, if you're so sensitive it's your problem only.
I voted for Mika so your attitude is offensive to me - you say that my vote is fake. If people didn't choose your fave no need in blackmouthing others.
If you're so prejudiced against NTU nothing really matters.

well, don't be offended, your vote was fair of course. Some others might be not. We all have seen voting stats from last year, and although no official invistigation has been done, everybody made some conclusions. And certain conclusion seemed to be prevailing, even for NTU management, who called for second NF.

Investigation? Call FBI!
Mika never violated any single rule so she didn't really abolish anything.
As for the 2nd NF - they wanted to please people which was their biggest mistake. Blame Jamala only that she refused from the 2nd NF - she didn't really want ESC that much :p

But it's 2012. Wondering if I can predict the 3rd consecutive winner right.

Don't worry about it, you pretty much can't say anything in critique of Ukraine in ESC without someone jumping down your throat here.

But I agree, if they see Max as a competitor, they already got rid of him once so it's not impossible for it to happen again.

Actually there has been a lot of adecvate criticizing unlike some xenophobes saying "it's Ukraine" all the time.
ps. Now let's talk about entries, instead of countries or your personal attitude against me or someone else.

Re: UKRAINE 2012

let's say it will be a famous performer: Matias, Max or Gaitana.
I'll name my choice in a week.

This year is the most unpredictable imo.

Oh God plz not Matias

For me it's Gaitana or Max, I still prefer Max' bi-lingual version of that song though, the verses sounds much hotter in Russian.

I am speaking about the entries am I not? I gave my opinion in that same post. I think Max has many hurdles to overcome to be selected as a wildcard and then to eventually win. But I like to speculate that this Ukrainian NF may not go as smoothly and that is based on the last few years of pretty clear cut examples where there have been issues. I would like to see a legitimate NF and that remains to be seen but it's my opinion and others might have the same opinion.

And before you advise sticking to the topic, you previously commented about my apparent constant negative input here and you also loosely throw around a term like xenophobia (in the years before as well). So is this a tit for tat process here or are only you allowed to paint me out as some kind of bigot?

I really dislike Matias, the song is so-so but performance was way beyond boring :/
I like Max's song but I'm afraid they will finish like Loboda in the end if they win. Badoev can't live without big show and ESC juries will pawn him for that, imo.
