Sevilla better watch out next year. Parma is making a long awaited return on Europa League next year. They are looking to make it 3 times winning the cup :)

Well, Benfica fans still have to wait 48 years until they are able to win a international trophy again. Just have a little patience

But, unregarding the Guttman course, its Benfica's own fault... A team that shots ridicolous penalties like Benfica simply doesn't deserve the EL trophy. Especially the first missed penalty, don't know the players name, was very stupid... First he takes such a long run and then he stopped in between. Penalties like this don't work in most times, that is one of the first things I would say to my players if I were a coach. The best way to shot a penalty is to take a short but fast run and slam the ball inside the goal, preferably high, so that the keeper doesn't have a chance to save it. That's how Sevilla shot their penalties.

Well, for German football fans it's a strange week.

We had the meaningless national friendly on Thursday against Poland. The result was 0:0
Then there was the EL final - also 0:0
Yesterday the exciting first relegation match between Hamburg and Fürth. Guess what was the result? 0:0

Hopefully we will see goals in German cup final. But thanks to players like Reus I don't have any doubts regarding this. :D

Brequetter, I don't know...... about dark horse lol but thanks;) Raketa is a really great player!

Currently croatian national team remind me to Croatia 98, superteam, Suker, Juric,Prosinecki, (all of them played in Sevilla FC) Boban or Vlaovick wich achieved to third place in France playing really nice and nowdays you have Srna, rakitic, modric, mandzukic, perisic or kranjcar xheart all of them can do very well :)

UEFA Champions League, 2nd round:

 Stromgodset - Steaua Bucharest :ro:
It's the toughest opponent we could've got, but I think we will pass. It won't be easy so we should take the match very serious.

UEFA Europa League, 2nd round:

:ro: Petrolul Ploiesti - Sioni Bolnisi :ge: / Flamurtari :al:
Easy draw for Petrolul and I guess they should have no troble in advancing to the next round.

:ro: CFR Cluj - Jagodina :rs:
This will be a very hard double for CFR Cluj and I think Jagodina will eliminate them. CFR Cluj didn't finish on a Europa League position but they advanced due to Dinamo Bucharest's bankrupcy.

:mk: Rabotnicki - :fi: Helsinki
:D The one of the possible two opponents that I wanted!! Now lets beat them, now or never! Advantage for Rabotnicki will be the heat in July.

UEFA:
:mk: Metalurg - :ad: UE Santa Coloma - this would be a good opportunity for Metalurg to get their first ever win on an international scene. I don't think they'll win away though.
:mk: Turnovo - :ge: Chukura, Not too sure what to expect here. I think Turnovo can do it.
:mk: Skendija - :md: Zimbru - This means no Vardar in the cups this year (surprise, surprise). Skendija did get couple of new players so they have a shot for success in this round. Zimbru is, however, more experienced on the international stage.

So for the Scottish teams :

Champion's League : Celtic v KR Reykjavik - Good tie, will be interesting to see the atmosphere for the return leg, as It's at Murrayfield and not Celtic Park due to the Commonwealth Games.

Europa League : St Johnstone v FC Luzern - Not a great draw for St. Johnstone. I expect them to lose this over the 2 legs.

Motherwell v Stjarnan or Bangor City - A great draw either way, but would prefer Bangor.

Aberdeen v Daugava Riga - Winnable tie, but Groningen in the next round is a nightmare.

Parma was denied a Uefa license. They will not be competing this year in Europa League therefore Torino takes their place :( what a bunch of Rubbish. Parma has won the completion twice while Torino has neve made it past the group stages... is Uefa really joking or what? That's a disgrace to the club and Italian league for 1. Having an inferior team represent then instead of a team that spend all their life on Uefa Cup. 2. Corruption is ruining the Italian league and also PARMA is now for sale again..... Cone on already I know we are the only Italian side to have more European success than league titles ( we donot care about Serie A) even though we finished second in many occasions even had Juventus steal the title from us with a dubious penalty on the last second to a 1-1 draw in 1997 ( Calciopoli) even then :D I will continue to support them and hopefully we finish on a champions League next edition or Even Uefa again will be fine.

I am a little late, but anyway:

UEFA Champions League qualifications

:rs: Partizan - Lincoln Red Imps (Gibraltar) - :fo: HB Torshavn

Obviously, this is a great draw for our team and whoever of these teams gets to play against us in the next round, Partizan is a huge favorite. We musn't underestimate neither the team from Gibraltar nor from the Faroe Islands, as only with the serious approach we can confirm on the field what exists on the paper. A complete scouting will be done for both of these teams and we will analyze their two matches in the 1st round of the qualificatons, so we will be prepared for what comes.

UEFA Europa League qualifications

:rs: Vojvodina - :sk: Trencin

Solid draw for Vojvodina. They could have got an easier rival, but also a tougher one as well. A lot will depend on the transfer period, so if they manage to keep their young talents like Milinković-Savić or Mijat Gaćinović I think they have nice chances to advance to the next round.

:ro: CFR Cluj - :rs: Jagodina

Yet another very difficult draw for Jagodina. Last year, none other than :ru: Rubin Kazan and now :ro: Cluj. Even though Cluj may not be on their previous level, I expect them to easily knock Jagodina out of the further competition. They are, simply, a better team. I hope Jagodina will give their best. Even though I doubt that will be enough.

:rs: Čukarički Stankom - :ad: Santa Julia

Perfect draw for Čukarički. Santa Julia is a team whose best achievemnt was to lose with only 2:0 against one Georgian team, so obviously Čukarički is a huge favorite. I expect them to pass this obstacle without a drop of sweat.
