UEFA Europa League, 3rd round:

:il: Hapoel Tel Aviv - Pandurii Targu Jiu :ro: 1 - 2 (2 - 3 agg.)
Great result for Pandurii! This was a great test for them as they are at their first European season and they don't have any individualities (except for Nistor maybe), but they have a strong team overall

:nl: Vitesse Arnhem - Petrolul Ploiesti :ro: 1 - 2 (2 - 3 agg.)
Petrolul showed they are a strong team as at 1 - 1 they got a red card and they didn't fell. Thequalifying goal was scored in the bsolute last minute.

:ro: Astra Giurgiu - Trencin :sk: 2 - 2 (5 - 3 agg.)
Astra secured their qualifiction in the first leg so last night they didn't show much, but still whenever Trencin scored, Astra imediatly equalised.

Celtic have been drawn against Shakhter Karagandy. Best possible draw. Pretty much guaranteed a place in the group stages again.

UEFA Champions League, Play-Off:

:ro: Steaua Bucharest - Legia Warsaw :pl:
It's the toughest opponent we could've got. I remember how Legia crushed Rapid Bucharest 2 years ago, but of course we are not Rapid + we defeated Ajax and Chelsea. All we have to do is take the game very serious. We play the firts match in Cluj and we must score. I believe a win with no received goals is enough. Then we must score in :pl: and that's it!

UEFA Europa League, Play-Off:

:ro: Pandurii Targu Jiu - SC Braga :pt:
It will be hard for Pandurii! They definetly must not receive any goals in Cluj nd to their best in Braga. They have nothing to lose!

:en: Swansea City - Petrolul Ploiesti :ro:
Swansea won the Carling Cup so they must be a good team, but Petrolul plays a very offensive game and in Ploiesti, hell will expect Swansea.

:il: Maccabi Haifa - Astra Giurgiu :ro:
I saw Maccabi 2 years ago when they gave 5-0 to Steaua but they didn't impress me to much. In that match we had two red cards so.... I think Astra has a chance here!

It's weird seeing the English flag next to Swansea.

My favorite team, :de: Eintracht Frankfurt, will play against Qarabagh Agdam in the Play-offs.
It´s one of the easier draws, but I´m still quite nervous, because it will be our first match in Europa League/UEFA-Cup since 2006.

They are representing the English Premier League, so they're considered english in UEFA comps.

I know why, It's just weird a Welsh team representing England.

I think we have a good chance of having all 6 :pt: teams in the group stage of the European competitions for the 2nd year in a row!
Porto and Benfica are automatically qualified for the group stage, both on pot 1. Paços de Ferreira is in the playoff and they will face Zenit (:ru:). They were the surprise of last season, finishing 3rd, while they're usual placing is around 10th place. It's only the 3rd time they're in a European competition! But even if they lose, which is very likely, they'll go to the group stage of the Europa League.
In there, we have automatically qualified Vitória de Guimarães, as Cup's winners.
And then in the playoff round we have Braga and Estoril. Braga will face Pandurii (:ro:) and Estoril will face Pasching from :at:. Both are more than able to qualify. And while Braga is better than Estoril, Estoril has maybe a bigger obligation to qualify, considering they're facing a side from the 3rd Austrian tier. It would be a disgrace if they lose!

Before I analyze the matches of our other two clubs, let's discuss the draw for Partizan and Vojvodina in the Europa League play-off:

UEFA Europa League play-off

:rs: Partizan - :ch: Thun

Solid draw for us, and I can say that I am generally satisfied. :ee: Nome Kalju or :at: Pasching would've been ideal, but this is good as well. I don't have too much informations about the current team of Thun, but I do know that they have a respectable team and that they are playing offensively, "on the goal more than the rival" and that they are very tough at home. It is a good thing that we are playing the first match at home, since we have a chance to achieve the good and positive result before the rematch in Switzerland. And we have a bad tradition when we play the first match as guests.

It will not be easy of course, but we have a great chance to eliminate the Swiss team and yet again enter the Europa League :D !

:rs: Vojvodina - :md: Sheriff Tiraspoli

An ideal draw for Vojvodina! If they were selecting the rival they wanted for the play-off, they probably wouldn't select a better one :D Vojvodina has shown an amazing quality in these qualifications and they deserved all this luck. They made the :rs: people proud and I am really happy for them. Marko Nikolic deserves maximum respect for everything he is doing, as he already made a miracle. Vojvodina has a historical chance to qualify to the group stage of Europa League and that will be the biggest success in their history. It will not be easy against Sheriff, I would say that chances are 50-50 but if Vojvodina continues like this, Sheriff will fall. They made a huge shock by destroying :tr: Bursaspor in Turkey with 3:0 and now they have an easier task, although they need to be careful, as play-off is always specific, there are two matches and both teams have their chances.

This will also be a test for them to see if they passed some of the, so called, "childhood illnesses". They used to lose and do badly when they were the favorites, just like they used to rape both us and Zvezda and then lose in the "small" matches. If they managed to overcome this now, they will also be the #1 favorites for the champions title in :rs:

I really hope both us and Vojvodina will make it to the group stage :D It would be a historical day for :rs: football as we never had two clubs in a group stage of any eurocup since their reformations :D

CL:
:pl: Legia Warszawa SA 0-0 Molde FK  (1-1 agg)

Close, but not close enough. Legia wins on away goals, and Molde will not qualify for Champions League. They will however get a chance in the playoffs for the Europa League.

EL:
:lu: FC Differdange 1-0 Tromsø IL  (3-4 on penalties, 4-5 agg)
 Strømsgodset IF 1-3 FK Baumit Jablonec :cz: (2-5 agg)

I actually saw the penalty shootout on RTL.lu's livestream. Could have gone both ways, but I'm happy Tromsø won in the end. Also heard some Tromsø fans on the livestreams. :D
Strømsgodset also had their chances, especially in the first half, and could have scored enough goals to qualify, but the Czechs turned out to be too strong in the end.

Next round:
 Tromsø IL - Beşiktaş JK :tr:
 Molde FK - FC Rubin Kazan :ru:

2 tricky opponents, and I think especially Tromsø will have a really hard task in the away match against Beşiktaş. Rubin Kazan might be about the same level as Legia Warszawa, so I think Molde might actually have a chance.

Rubin are several levels above Legia Warsaw.

Yep. They won the russian premier league twice some years ago, and reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League last year.

Well, I saw they finished 6th last season, but that could of course be because of the Europa League participation. So I guess it's gonna be tough for Molde as well then. :p

I think Molde might have a chance but I would put my money on Rubin.

Molde has a nice chance to pass them.

Rubin is a favorite, but if our :rs: Jagodina played more than well against them in both matches, I am sure  Molde can do the same. My Partizan also played well against them in the group stage of Europa League last season, and we took them a point here in Belgrade (it was 1-1).

Rubin is most dangerous when they transform from defense to attack, and via the right and left flank. If Molde manages to stop Karadeniz, Rondon and Yeremenko (3 key players of Rubin imo), they have a chance for a great result.
