Yeah if anything this is glaring proof that Azerbaijan doesn't treat the ESC as a way of showcasing its local talents and music, but as a way of winning by any means necessary (aka buying foreign songs tailor-made to win ESC).

Actually, the official site of the contest seems to know less than that site, they often have incorrect information.

The Macedonian entry will be sung by is İlkay Yusuf, but there is conflicting information about the song, some sources say it's called Ağlama Benim İçin, while others claim it's Düşlerde Yaşamak, which can be listened here:

It is strange because my grandparents are living in Constanta and they should have this channel

So apparently Uzbekistan will be represented by Nilufar Usmonova, not Shahzoda, and the song is called Unutgin. I couldn't find the song online, when I do, I will post it here.

How come Azerbaijan won't have a selection like this for ESC? I mean Milli Secim Turu is hilariously fun (for all the wrong reasons), but this is far more serious stuff (and I should stress again that I'd rather Azerbaijan take this approach regarding ESC aswell, rather than importing some English-language western stuff to be sung by a predetermined winner from Mili...).
