Why Germany dont take part too? In this country leave many good singers with turkish origin
And Germany is a Turkic country...? Not of course, so... :?

Other countries and regions (e.g. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Krim or Georgia) that take part technically aren't either. I am not sure but I have read somewhere that in order to get recognized as a national minority those people need to live there and continue to consider themselves as a different ethnic group for at least 200 years. The first Turkish immigrants came to Germany about 50 years ago. Also, they probably did not find a broadcaster.

Belarus, ukraine, Russia and Moldova arent turkish but they partecipate,
but Trt have some studios in Berlin , Wien and Amsterdam too, they can organize some juries, without a brodcaster

Last time I checked, Belarus wasn't a Turkic country either.

So, why Belarus participates then...? Theoretically this contest is only for Turkic countries, that's why this "contest" is called "Turkvision".

And why would they do that? So the TRT formed austrian, dutch and german juries would give their 12 to TRT's entry?

Firstly, the contest is directed at Turkic people (not just Turkish), secondly as CC92 pointed out it's about "historical" Turkic minorities, which you can find in those countries, and also of course if the Turkic (or in some cases Turkish) minorities got their own broadcaster.

Shahzoda: "Medlenno" - New Version

I hope she sticks with the first version. However, I reckon people in general may enjoy this one more.

I don't really hear the difference? I like Shahzoda though, a good pick for Uzbekistan. I would have preferred a song with more ethnic elements from her though like this one:

... but Medlenno is also quite good.

Ah ah ah, that journalist speaks so fast. Rin'go will represent Kazakhstan.

What's their entry? Where can one see/listen to the entries of the Kazakh selection? I knew KeshYou were amongst the names, I like them.

Rin'go could be cool though depending on entry of course, I like this one by them:

... it's a bit KPop-ish but with a bit of ethnic touches to it.

Apparently the Kazakh entry is called Бірлікпен алға (Birlikpen alğa) but it doesn't seem to be available on the Internet.

I just realized the version she used in the music video is the newest, that's why you didn't notice the difference.

Here is the first version:

Their entry remains unknown at this time and, as far as I know, only Luina's song is available.

See, why can't Azerbaijan send stuff like this hottie gay Azeri sings to ESC instead of those imports from other countries? xshrug

This is awful song even for Turkvision imo

I think a song like this would rank in my top.3 Azeri entries to date if it would have been sent to ESC xshrug

I've just heard two songs that'll entering Turkvision, and so far I think it's pretty good xheya

Yeah if anything this is glaring proof that Azerbaijan doesn't treat the ESC as a way of showcasing its local talents and music, but as a way of winning by any means necessary (aka buying foreign songs tailor-made to win ESC).
