Who says that?

Can you clear for me that how can a song be possibly arrogant?

sorry again, should have been clearer. TRT being arrogant, not the song.

I read articles about only TRT's jury system craps but I have never seen any point about not getting top 5 every year. Can you clear this by some trustful sources, please?

Sources? Isn't it enough that TRT act like cry-babies when Turkish entries can't solely dive into the top. 5 (top.10) based on diaspora votes alone? What proof is needed really? They complained about results (which were good - so nothing to complain about really) xshrug

The reasons are not only that thoug. TRT withdrew also because of political reasons, the sames reasons that made them create Turkvizion, or however it's spelled.

Well, back in 2012 we were 4th in televoting and bottom 5 in jury system, which is kinda weird. That could be the base for their withdrawing. However, what I believe is that they've made these excuses only to have a reason for their withdrawing which has nothing to do with the voting system but with some political issues.

What political issues?

Well, I can't say I always agree with the juries, but when a broadcaster whines because they can't rely solely on diaspora votes (which let's be honest aren't really fair either), then they lose credibility imo.

My guess is that Turkey wanted to pull out after 2011 flop and they had an idea of Turkvision since then, but Azerbaijan won so they couldn't refuse to enter the next year.
They just had to throw all these lame excuses later.

To be honest we see the BBC acting like a baby saying that the contest is entirely political and that all the songs they send are good and deserve much more, all that while not even trying at all and making a completely ridiculous figure out of themselves, since 2003.

This rule does not exist any more for Ebu.

But regardless them broadcasting 2014 is a good indicator that they're interested in Eurovision still

The 'it's all political' rhetoric is dying down in the UK now. Most people realise the BBC are just shite at choosing songs
