I don't think anyone is surprised you qualified? Not as if people are "freaking out", we're pretty used to Turkish Eurovision successes by now, some deserved, some not.

In the end it's all about taste and it scares me how people in this thread can't see it for that.

The only one freaking out are the ones unable to take my original comment... if it weren't for all the attacks and offensive behavior.. we would have not even been discussing this any longer.

I would have loved to end this with my first comment, but I had to answer all the unnecessary "attacks" .

Well, dancers were a way better than I thought they would be. Can's singing is not great but c'mon it's Eurovision, we saw much worse performances from singers who qualifed. I think audience and people who watched the show in their homes enjoyed with Turkey. Some may think that it's a childish song, that is so normal but I think that it's not a "childish song", it's a "fun song". And I believe that this song's lyrics makes more sense than some others. And yes diaspora helped us a lot but we had it last year too. Our success is not only about the diaspora thing. Some people must like the song, in my opinion we totaly deserved to be in final. So Can DID NOT stole anything from anyone. And please please stop arguing with each other and repeating the same things again and again. Some of members did not like our song, so what? The song that loves by everyone does not exists.
