Read again and think about it if you are able. It is not that difficult to understand ;)
Unnecessairy rudeness is one of the weakest ways to make your argument look stronger. It actually doesn't help at all. But congratulations with your comment, I hope you feel much better now.

Ontopic: I saw some picture of the hotels there, it was quite strange to see how bad it was.

Such a shame, you guys talking about politics instead of sports. Later the first competitions finals starts in Snowboards slopestyle.

Unfortunately Seppe Smits from :be: didn't qualify, he was only a quarter of a point behind the last qualifier. :(

Now I keep my fingers cross for Billy Morgan from :uk: and Sven Thorgren from :se: . Hope they do best! xcheer

I'm not jealous. Oslo wants the Olympics in 2022, and I'm against it. ;)

Now, on topic: 3 medals for Norway so far today. In the cross-country skiathlon, gold to Marit Bjørgen, bronze to Heidi Weng, and in snowboard slopestyle, silver to Ståle Sandbech. :) Very emotional Norwegian team after the skiathlon, for obvious reasons.

Also, Sochi isn't impressing when it comes to medical assistance. I mentioned the Norwegian snowboarder who didn't get help after falling hard on her face, and today a Slovenian downhill skier fell, and it took MINUTES before he got any help! In downhill, this can be a matter of life and death...

We got bronze in slopestyle, Mark McMorris came through with a clutch performance in the semis to make it to the final! So happy! xcheer

And Jean-Philippe Le Guellec made a 5th place in men's sprint in biathlon. Okay, that is no medal, but a good result for a canadian biathlete.

And Ole-Einar Bjoerndalen wins his 7th gold medal, now he's very close to Björn Daehlie, and imo it's possible that he will win at least one more gold medal.

Heck yes! Tessa and Scott came up with 9 points in team figure skating (I knew the dance 10 would be contested between them and Meryl and Charlie), so Canada is 1 point behind Russia with the ladies left to go

I finally watched the opening ceremony. It was great. :) It was cool how they incorporated the screens on the floor.

Anyone looking forward to watching Yuna Kim?

They're going to broadcast figure skating in delay in a bit. I will be tweeting during the broadcast :D

I'm not checking out the results until the TV here has aired it! I love winter sports! :D :D xheart

This came as a surprise, I expected Emil Hegle Svendsen to be our best, but Ole Einar Bjørndalen is amazing in big events like this. He's got a good chance in the pursuit now, and I'm pretty sure he'll be on the relay team as well, fighting in the top. :)

3 medals for the Dutchies already. xbow

And all in the same event. Very impressive.

Everyone expect a duel between Svendsen and Martin today, but I hoped Arnd Peiffer or Simon Schempp could win a medal today, but something in the german team went wrong today, hope the ladies will do better tomorrow and every fan of german biathlon looks forward to the relays, because we had many good results in this competition during this year.

When I think about one or two more gold medals of Ole-Einar, I think about the pursuit and one of the relays, but the I expect a very close race for the men's relay between Norway, Germany, Austria, Russia and France. So everything could happen on this day.
