No your age is indeed none of our business because we can tell without knowing that you're immature

Wow, u are insulting me just because I speak up my mind and without even knowing anything abt me. How nice of u.

Immature would be insulting someone who u don't know anything about and insulting someone who didn't do or say anything bad to u. I don't feel offended by your insult because I know who I am. I am me and I will always be and u can try to tear me apart but u can't break me down. Nah, nah. And I don't know any words of arcade except loving u is a losing game.
Just kidding, but honestly I'm not offended by u because u are just anonymous on the other side and nobody important in my life. Much love! xheart

Måns NOT eyecandy??? I indeed share a different opinion like you're saying.

And I find Duncan such a sweet down to earth guy and his BF looks like a nice person too.

Have u seen zelmerow's head, his nose? Putting his hateful views aside, I don't find him good looking at all. I know some of esc fans don't share my opinion and I'm trying to see what do they see in him, but I don't get it. And with him outing himself as homophobe back then, my opinion stayed the same. If I saw him on the street, it would be like when u encounter snake. I don't know should I be petrified or run for my life. But he doesn't have to worry. He will come to esc 750 more times I guess. :(

Ontopic, congrats to Dutch people. They have been waiting for victory for a looong time. Also, this is double defeat for Laura bretan and I couldn't be happier for that matter.

why is the guy who got a restraining order from luca hanni under a different name and flag? girl, we see you. even if we wish we didn't.

anyway mans is an angel on earth (never sing fuego again though) and duncan is actually a very cool guy who is very easy to wish success for. he is not a instagram-ready hunk, but he doesn't need to be.

U were referring to me? First of all, I don't know what diff. flag and name u are talking about and I couldn't care less. Secondly, luca doesn't even read insta messages and I was never blocked by him. U can put me on ignore list if u don't like my posts cause I will do the same regarding u. Much love! xheart

I feel sick reading comments on news articles about Duncan where people in my country bash him and talk negative about him and have negative connotations for esc. They say he won because he is lgbt, if his sexuality was natural, he would have been able to breed, esc is festival of lgbt, the weirder u are, the more chances is that u will win etc..

For that matter, I'm glad Duncan won. He was in my top 5 before finals, so if it couldn't be FRA, ITA, NOR at least someone from my top 5 won.

17 countries already confirmed their participation for 2020. Hopefully, we'll se that jurry and televote finally agree on winner and hopefully it will be less discrepancy between them.

this is especially ironic because...was there anything, absolutely anything about the song or the performance or his appearance that would even slightly hint at his sexuality? Even the story behind the lyrics was about a heterosexual couple.

just don't read the comments, it's unhealthy.

Well, he said on press conference he is bi. Also long time ago, he outed himself as bi and I guess that's interesting to news editors. BTW, he is little bit feminine. Ofc. this is still prejudice. If u are bit femi, it doesn't mean u can't be straight and vice versa. So, that's why some people conclude abt his sexuality even if he haven't said anything.

I don`t think he is feminine at all!? Dafuq.

(This entire discussion is kinda upsetting tbh. Am I the only one who is really uncomfortable with these kind of comments?)

Nope, that is why you should just ignore comments that upset you. Like people complain about 'haters', but go 'hating' on the entry they don't like too. If everybody just tries to ignore such comments and to try to think about what they say themselves, this world would be a much better place.

True. Sometime`s I`m losing my cool. I just hate this kind of superficiality with all of my heart.

If this is true (and given your history on this forum I think that's a totally acceptable disclaimer), that's ABHORRENT. Not that it'd make it any more acceptable if Duncan performed shooting rainbow fumes from his armpits while the backdrop displayed a series of Louis Virtel tweets, but it makes the "I'm not a bigot, be queer if you want, just don't rub it in my face" schtick I'm sure many of us have heard ring extremely hollow - if we can't be Duncan Laurence, who made ZERO REFERENCE to his identity at all, what truly can we be?

EDIT: clarity

Congratulations to :nl: and all fans of Duncan. In any case, it's good when a country with rich ESC tradition wins and you've waited for this for a long time. So massive kudos for that.

Sadly, I don't like the song at all, and I will never listen to it again. This is the first time that my own country also reacted very negatively on the winner giving it 3 points (the audience) and 0 points (the juries).

That put aside, I am happy for those of you who supported him and for :nl: fans. You have a reason to celebrate.

No you’re not. I find all these posts disturbing to say the least
