Seeing as Norway didn't even get top 10 with the juries in their semi which went perfectly fine, I doubt there would have been any difference

Am I the only one who thinks real winner is when both jurry and televote decide that u won. And when that's not the case, let it be televote because majority decided for that. Just wow! I am so proud of Duncan. And realy happy that I finaly experienced a victory for my country. I was wondering if it will happen in my lifetime. Since I saw Belgium winning with Sandra Kim, J’aime Lavie... I was dreaming of this day.

And I’m happy to share this Victory with Sweden and Norway. There were actualy three winners yesterday. Sweden the juryvote, Norway the public and Netherlands the overall vote.

It's posts like this that make me pleased to see The Netherlands victory, even if the song admittedly wasn't for me. I can't begin for one moment to imagine what it must feel like to experience your country winning the contest, and then knowing that this crazy wonderful thing is going to be held the very next year on home soil. It must be amazing! Many congratulations on your dreams coming true I'm sure you're going to put on a great show for us all.

It is definitely his boyfriend and the reason that they don’t kiss, is not because the Netherlands is not open-minded or he has to hide or whatever, but because the guy does not like all the media attention and he just prefers to be on the background supporting him. Personally I think that is wonderful, because nowadays a lot of people love attention a bit too much.

And I think the country is exceptionally happy and also surprised, because for us it was a somewhat historic, nostalgic moment, winning the contest. For many people it was something of a past when everything was different, but for most it was something they never thought to experience. My dad was thinking back when he was 10 years old and we won and even though he doesn’t really care for the contest, he was still a bit overwhelmed and did not really realize it.
