I would like that he engages more and talks more abt his sexuality. I think he would be good role model for many young kids if he would have chosen it and its important to have someone to represent u. Even Kate who is straight had her support for lgbt ppl on her Instagram as well as in green room. Those little things also matter. Let him kiss Gerco, it wouldn't mean much for him, but for teens it would mean a lot.

For me he is a role-model without rubbing his sexuality in everybody`s faces. He`s just as old as I am and we are both bisexual. Some people (no matter their sexuality) just don`t like to showcase their love in public - I can totally relate to that. He is NOT obligated to fulfill anyone`s expectations or wishes when it comes to his own relationship and sexuality. What world are we living in lol?

Congratulations to The Netherlands and all dutch fans here! I haven't liked the last 3 winners, but this one really brings out something inside of me. I rarely enjoy ballads like this unless they are really fine-tuned and passionate in a way that this is. It also feels good to see The Netherlands get a win after getting second place in 2014. The story behind the song is heartgrabbing and Duncan was magical. I just know that The Netherlands could be the best hosts ever: the way they've hosted JESC 2012 and MTV: EMA in 2013 and 2016 left me greatly impressed.

So to all dutch fans! Soak this in and enjoy it, you deserve it!

In his first appearance back home on Jeroen Pauw's talk show today, Duncan delivered a stunning acoustic performance of his winning song. And if winning the ESC trophy almost 24 hours ago wasn't enough, he received a special gift... "Arcade" has now gone double platinum in the Netherlands!

Great job the Netherlands! Duncan is a fantastic winner, he really deserved it. 100% music and talent, and he seems like such a nice guy - a great ambassador for Eurovision!

I did prefer his Semi Final performance, but the Grand Final one was still absolutely brilliant. This is the first time since I've been watching Eurovision that my absolute favourite has won (2008 and 2011 were both sort of favourites for me), so I'm very pleased with the result! It's great to have the Netherlands winning and hosting again after so many years of struggling at Eurovision, and this the closest to the United Kingdom I've ever known Eurovision to be!

So once again congratulations to Duncan and the Netherlands!

And carlota liked my post and said yes, that's right. In the last pic on insta she wrote so happy for my best friend. They seem very close and she was holding his trophy (no pun intended). Did they have something in the past, I don't know. She is guitarist so she was probably in the band touring with him. I don't know how would I feel about bisexuality . Imagine, you are his BF and not only that u have to watch out for boys, but now u have to watch for girls too. Imagine u are his gf and not only u have to watch out for other girls, but u have to watch out for boys too.

I hope that next May I'll be in the Netherlands. A song like this deserved the win, said by one from the country which came 27 points behind yours. But it really was the only outcome I could've accepted in case of no win for Mahmood. My country and the country I've always followed in music.
