Wow it really love this! It looks stunning! Why are people complaining about the piano? In my opinion it's just the right staging.. That leg though. Reminds me of Paula Seling sitting on the piano...

Again, you can't really tell from a 40-second clip. I think once the full finished product is revealed it's going to look amazing on TV. I can picture the audience holding up lights to give it a more magical feel on those wide shots

:'D Staging is half of the entire thing. It's not just a song contest and never will be, Otherwise it might as just be a basic festival or something. You NEED visuals, it NEEDS to look good. You can't just bag it off as it is doesn't matter because the song is apparently the only important part. You don't need flames or wild camera shots and fireworks left and right to have good staging and visuals though. Salvador achieved it by creating a totally different atmosphere and stripping right back. The visuals worked amazingly well for his song, if it didn't then Salvador probably wouldn't have won. The same applies to Duncan. Probably some people are being over critical but what do you expect? They'll probably have it sorted come the live show.

If I had to take a stab at this one, the staging is new information, so I think people are responding to what they didn’t know (the staging) rather than what they, regardless of whether they liked it or didn’t, did know (the song).
