Ok no presentation, but interpretation..
My English is not that strong..
Interpretation and quality of vocals and singing technique are totally two different things..
And you totally missed the point here..
I personally think his singing is good and he is a good singer..
But my point was that it is mater of taste like everything in music is and comments where somebody "puke over" somebody's normal reaction are unnaceptable by any means.. :?

Come on, recognizing somebody is a great singer has nothing to do with personal taste. I strongly dislike Lady GaGa for instance, yet I don't go around saying she's a terrible singer. Taste has nothing to do with the fact somebody can sing yes or no. You might not like his style of singing, or his voice, or the songs he sings, or his personality etc., but that doesn't mean he can't sing. Criticism is fine, not liking somebody is fine, not liking a song is fine etc. But please don't trash for the sake of trashing, and stop defending people that do.

Duncan can sing lol. That's been well-established. Doesn't matter though, we've had plenty of great singers that NQ'd, and supposedly "poor singers" that did very well.
It's a question of whether Duncan can perform well enough to convince the the rest of Europe to pick up their phone and cast votes for him. Time will tell whether that's the case.

By far the most overrated entry this year.
It's not bad at all, but I somehow fail to see what is so special and unique about it. To me, it sounds like pretty much any other song that I hear on the radio. I don't see anything new or fresh in it, nor do I see the winning potential. It somehow reminds me of the hype surrounding Estonia 2015 and Italy 2017. From my perspective, it doesn't deserve anything more than a top 10 result.

As Mrm already explained, I wrote what I wrote from my own perspective. I think the song is good but nothing extraordinary and certainly not the holy grail of this year's edition (from my perspective). His victory is not impossible, but as I said, I fail to see anything more than just another ordinary song that we hear on the radios. For me personally, there are many songs that I liked more than this one.
For the record, I also like Waylon's entry more than this one.
you know he's pissed with that editing...Btw what is good singing even? I never understood this. Yea ok hitting the notes and all but like Esma (rip) for example I remember was trashed for being a terrible singer back in the day. Yet I believe she is an amazing singer and millions of others do as well, ok it was maybe not her best live performance but many people trashed her singing in general saying things like 'She should quit singing' 'what a terrible singer' etc. mostly people that don't understand that type of singing usually from Western Europe who are not so familiar with the gypsy or more oriental/eastern type of singing.
I think Duncan has a nice, sort of basic karaoke-style voice but it really doesn't make me personally feel anything so I don't consider he has a great voice either. But then again I can understand other people do find it great, for me it just reminds me of every male indie singer on the radio and I just can't with those anymore. I find this the weakest Dutch entry after the 3Js.

For me, he isn't definitely not the best singer! 
But nonetheless, I love the song so much too. If he wins, it's okay for me. He's my #3 at the moment in my top 41. [For me] It's a tough fight between him, Sergey and Kobi. All three ballads, all three good singers, but while I consider Duncan and Sergey as good singers I would call Kobi VERY good.

I'm very interested in seeing how this will be staged, I agree it should be kept simple - a song like this doesn't really need any fancy stuff for it to stand out

Would actually love it if they picked up the underwater theme from the music video. A sombre / dark blue, waterish background (LED screens will be back after all) and subtle lighting, basically what they did for the acoustic version.
