The Linnets' odds are still shortening. Aram is already shaking. I just can't believe it.

Yes the performances weren't the best but it was just a good performance and a giod song. Fron the other hand Denmark was in the 3rd place for many weeks, so maybe

Because it is totally different from the rest I think....not only the song is totally different, also the staging is, the combination of that make this song stood out very well....and people like that...its a fresh air to many people I think

Can't believe how the odds are shortening on our entry, from 150/1 to 10/1! Top 3 on iTunes in many countries, even no. 1 in the Netherlands, Hungary and Latvia

Still love the fact that directly after the performance last tuesday a lot of people were very optimistic about the chances of the Netherlands to win the contest.
But after some time there are more and more people saying its too dull and slow for the eurovision song contest.
Is it because of the popularity, it is jelousy or?
Anyway , the views of the youtube version have grown from 400.000 to 720.000 in just 1,5 day?

Personally I don't find it different from the others
. It's a simple ballad as all the others. I find Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia, or Hungary more unique. But I have to admit that the performance was amazing and very romandic. But still nothing unique

I think the most important factor is that unlike the others acts in the 1st semi with some ridiculous stage acts and/or trying to outscream each other, this performance felt genuine. Thought Ilse and Waylon were very charming on stage. Loved how they were looking at each other and the camera. They got that very atmospheric, intimate feeling spot on. Magic! Besides that it is a good song, which grows on you if you listen to it a couple of times. Some may find it boring but it's strength lies in the fact it is very simple, humble and doesn't try too hard to grab your attention. The vocals were the best of the night because they didn't jump around on stage like idiots and just focused on the music. The guitar solo was also a nice touch!
