I would be most happy if Denmark wins, also Finland, for those two I don't doubt they'll be vocally perfect, but need to see how Azerbaijan, UK and Estonia will perform today

actually, I would be ok with most of the countries winning, except for France, Greece, Ukraine and Georgia

Every country will vote for France this year because of the jury. Even if it doesn't get many 12p this is the only country that will have secure votes and with the televoting combined this is the hot favourite. UK is the other country with winning potential (tele most and some jury votes too) and maybe will steal the win. My personal favourite Bosnia would have a strong potential (tele, bloc+jury votes) but the early draw is a serious setback. I can't see any other winning. If it was only televoting then Ireland would have some chances too. Will see tonight and I hope I'm not right!

my comment was actually reffering to predicitons that france might win. so what I really wanted to say is that I don't think that they will get THAT many points from both juries and people. I am certain that points will come but I don't think that they will win (for example, don't think it will get that many points from almost entire eastern europe, cause even if juries like them, don't think that voters will. also, northern europe is more likely to go with estonia and sweden than with france)

but hey, I still may be way off, so can't wait for tonight

For tonights final I don't really have a favourite anymore. Several countries have a real chance to win this years' contest. For me those countries are (based on the performances in the semis and my expectations for the Big-5, again in random order):


Azerbaijan
Denmark
France
Germany
Ireland
Iceland
Switzerland

If I had to put my money on one of them, I'd say France (but again, I still haven't heard the live version of that one). Of those I did hear and see already... my guess would be Switzerland or Azerbaijan... though I see the chances of Ireland winning an 8th time growing as well.

Ukraine, Switzerland, Lithuania had the best vocal . The best song this year is hard to chose because there are different good songs so is hard to compare. Tonight I will vote based on stage performance, but my fav. are Slovenia, Estonia, Georgia, Russia, B&Herzegovina( but here I don;t like the coreography), Russia ( bad shoutings) and ballads like Switzerland, Lithuania and Ukraine because the singer sang almost perfectly and I like very much the (lyrics) message of " Angel" and the original idea of presentation( Ksenia's sand drawing) I will be happy if 1/2 of the named countries will be in top 15
All this things that I have said are based on semifinals's presentation.

Yep, I forgot Austria . Slovenia as I have said is my favourite but Maja had some mistakes in her song and she didn't used all her vocal power/potential . Also she had some pronuntation errors. -That's why I didn't write Slovenia on my list. ( I just forgot to type Austria). Serbia also had a very good singer as Bulgaria and Albania .

ph... I just think that Ireland's song isn't good enough to win. To be honest I don't like that song at all... But Ireland starts as a favourite ( I read on a site ) so every think can happen. I have a question for Romanian users (a little bic off topic here) : When I vote for, Estonia, Slovenia and Ukraine, It just didn't work... On my phone appered" Eroare de conexiune" I tried it form 4 phones including SMS, but I don't know if the votes were counted but they took me 3 euros from 1 phone and 1 euro for the telephone. Were the votes count ? Did after the calling said someone somethink like :" Thanks for voting .."?

I read the rules and there is written that after the calling we must wait for a confirmation -> that meens that my confirmated votes are form SMS - is the only reason that I is plausible. I had tried to sent 8 -9 votes because it didn't work, that meens that my 3+1 euros are form the SMS that were valid votes... Tnx for answering .
