I've read on Wikipedia that the EBU released the split results for the 2009 final in July.

So we may still have to wait a few weeks!

^ I do not think he is. As a fan it is bloody awful not to know the results more than two weeks after the event, isn't it?

It sure is! When there was just televoting, we had the results on the night of the final and that was that. Since EBU decided to bring back juries, they should at least have the decency to give us the split results. I can't understand why they don't just release those results in the week after the final...what's holding them back?

It surely is. But I was actually referring to the language of his message. And besides, I wasn't even being too serious about that...:geek: I also want to know those split votes and I totally respect that you guys feel so mad about it, but really, I just don't share that feeling. Hope you can respect that too.

^ Haha, sure. I think Filip wanted to come across as a bit funny too although he actually he stated the truth. :-D

As for me I can say that unless they announce changes concering this procedure I seriously shall stop following the next editions. Watching the shows yes but I am not eager to waste so much of my energy and spare time for ESC for the purpose of being taken for a fool thereafter.

The fact that Portuguese jury gave 5pts to Georgia and zero to Sweden (the winner), proves my point about juries being incompetent
The Hell? 5 jury poinst to Georgia? Seriously? As I said, the San Marinese, Italian and Portuguese juries voted quite strangely, if not suspiciously.

Interesting, no points to Bosnia & Herzegovina and 5 points to Portugal  BUT in the final they gave 6 points to Bosnia & H.? No points to Turkey and Estonia?:confused: Is it only me or does it sound kinda weird? I mean, they gave Lithuania 07 points, Turkey 02 and 01 to Estonia in the semi-final but no points in the final  and suddenly they give Bosnia & H. 6 points? That's what I call a twist of events! It's the weirdest voting I've ever seen... :?

Indeed... it seems juries vote differently in semi finals just so that some countries qualify and others don't

Well yeah, it seems so, it's really weird... If the jury's the same, if they liked 3 entries more than others, why do they suddenly vote completely different?? It's even more irregular than our personal rankings in this forum
