I find it funny how on one end there's the lyric "Like ammonites, I just gave it some time". Like where did that come from?

and on the other end of the lyrical spectrum we have "I broke the chains" and "My heart is beating like a drum".

Truly a lyrical rollercoaster.

Ammonites are famously known to be very very patient 🤓

This is a lot to take in. I love how theatrical it is which is why I feel like I won't truly appreciate this until the live performance.

Idk how to rate it lol

So, here are my thoughts after some listens.

This kind of structure/arrangement isn't strange to me. I also delved into K-Pop and it's quite a trend for the boyband and girlband songs there to mix different arrangements into one song.

Nemo here is attempting that approach but as a solo artist with a different niche. They paired DnB/breakbeat which has been going back on trend recently, but arrangeing it much more dramatically, using all their skill sets from rap to opera. To cramp all of that in a three-minute song is an impressive effort.

Someone on YouTube mentioned 'the genre is ADHD' and I couldn't agree more.
This is just what an audible arrangement of hyperactive ADHD would sound like.

I will give it an :8:. I want to rate it higher, but waiting for a live clip of this seems necessary.

Excuse my language but how the fuck is this going to be performed live, I like it
Serious answer: This might be the major handicap for this song. Nemo has to make themself swap personalities and vocal range every 10 seconds, a big risk on their part. The transitions for each segment are also so fast and so abrupt, I don't know if they could get their breathing right live.

Non-serious answer: Maybe Dory will be on the stage for the opera parts.

Now this is how you do a chaotic entry in the same vibe as Cha Cha Cha. Its fun, its not forced and cringy. This came outta nowhere, I've basically written off Switzerland as another year of a stale male ballad and then...boom! Bonus points for random opera, Cezar lives on xcry

Ok. After three listens I like it, but not love it. Some parts are very good while others are kind if meh. However, if staged well, that can do decently in the contest.
