Paula Merengo has nice staging potential to highlight the quirky if done right, the others have very little going for them.Looks like it will be an SRF selection going to Copenhagen.Although I hadn't spent much time listening to them all, I thought a couple of the ones not selected had good potential,Alain mainly.
Very low quality really from RTS and RSI.

What's that !
With French fans we shortlisted six entries and only 2 of them are there... Lola Sparkers and Natacha & Stéphanie.
Our favorite was by far Alain...

Lola Sparkers is OK. Natacha & Stéphanie are touching but so-so. Paula Marengo is not outstanding. Christian Tschanz has über-annonying lyrics. Joël Murner hardly can sing. Tanita has an aweful accent and a boring song... That's just an horrendous selection to confirm Switzerland will stay at the bottom of the semis, all the more if they only choose the cheesiest songs there... xfacepalm

Like you guys i thought Alain was easily the best entry.Far higher quality than any of the six selected.Im not sure the jury has done a very good job at all.

I just listened to all of the web selected entries (someone owes me a large glass of wine). Gosh, i'm still recovering. Everything was just so.. meh. And the promo videos as well!? But there was one light.....

SWISSTERS

I don't know if the lack of sleep has anything to do with it but I found myself delirious throughout the whole of the video. It was shocking but I loved it. The horn solo at the bridge of the song almost killed me along with the high tech cgi. Please send this Switzerlandxheat

So next Saturday in Zurich they'll trim the RSI candidates to 1, RTS to 2 and SRF to 3 for the final in Kreuzlingen

I am actually a lot happier with SRF/RTR's choices. They're going to carry their national final. I'm upset that Maria Christina didn't make it xcry but i am super super happy that Gosia was chosen, she was my close second favourite. I also think the songs by 3forall and One Day Remains are alright as well. I'm hoping for Gosia to represent Switzerland. Maybe if Poland withdraw then they might still be represented through her!

Its probably my really bad headache and depression over Serbia and Bulgaria speaking but I REALLY enjoyed this.

It was catchy, carefree, fun, has a great message, and made me laugh and smile in a good way (the video itself a huge plus:mrgreen:)

Please send this Switzerland!!!! xcheer

edit:
I'm totally hooked  It's just so upbeat and their enthusiasm is contagious xrofl

Isn't it just wonderful!? I can't stop watching it. It is all those things you say it is. The whole package may be beyond cheap but the girls shine through and the whole thing is insanely infectious. The song also has huge revamp potential. I'm sure wonders could be worked on it as the girls themselves aren't bad at all. I want this to win and then we can all witness an epic Valentina Monetta style transformation before our very eyesxyesxheat

For me there are only 2 good choices.
1)Christian with his french ballad "Au Paradis".
and
2)3forAll with their song Together Forever, its a bit trashy, but its nice.
