Wow, that staging looks great and scary tbh. SVT really had their eggs in one basket this year. With that staging, I don't see Loreen losing tbh. Swedish televoters love that shit.

The basic stage makes sense now too. They spent all the money on Loreen's LED toaster grill.

I want to ask anyone from Sweden…

Will locals vote for Loreen??
I mean it's hard to predict now since there's age groups, but I can totally see people in the 16-29 and 30-44 group going bananas for this. The younger groups might go for Marcus & Martinus and Theoz (eventually), the older a tossup between Maria Sur and Loreen me thinks. But this should be between Loreen and M&M.

But after the images, I can seeing her getting a big head start with the juries, M&M and Maria Sur are not very strong competitors in the jury vote.

Yeah the juries will love this of course! But I can see Marcus & Martinus getting big points from them as well.

Really, that has to be the weakest bunch of songs in any modern edition of Melodifestivalen. There's really not much to talk about at all in this heat. Smash Into Pieces really disappointed me, like a blend of every previous MF-metal act with nothing distinctive, maybe it will come across slightly better live.

Axel Schylström's entry has something slightly promising, but it suffers from having the same melodic progression and over-produced trendy sound as most entries this year, for some reason. It seems MF is really using a smaller than usual pool of composers and producers this year, the entries sound so much alike that it's baffling...

So to the big hitter, Loreen... so-so about the song snippet, and i don't think she's a guaranteed winner. Obviously JHF and M&M are the contenders, and i think people are wrongly counting out JHF now that he might finally win. Remember returning artists with spectacular, artsy stagings have failed before, like Ace Wilder with "Don't Worry" and especially Eric Saade with "Every Moment", and i got a feeling Loreen will end up below those two in the final.

If you asked me some hours ago Id say M&M were going to win the melfest jury vote coz of modern quality-hit potential.
Now juries are getting the same amount of modern quality-hit potential, but enhanched with artistry and great vocals.

So, they put 90% of their budget in Loreen's performance, that's the why the stage looks so cheap and we have 26 fillers in the line-up. I am still #teamair.

Btw. happy b-day, twins!

Honestly Loreen staging seems amazing but also very dangerous. The LED wall above her must weigh a ton. I hope the chains holding the wall up are strong enough. Her life could be in danger if it's not done well. It also worries more for Liverpool in case she wins because the time to change the staging between her and another artist is short : so there's a risk they don't take care enough with this.

I mean I certainly hope the Teams in Mello and possibly later Liverpool are absolute professionals and that they wouldn‘t let it happen if it were risky

Wow, Sweden is at 19% now. Only 1% behind Ukraine. She truly is the moment.

The bigger risk is SVT spent all their money on Loreen’s staging and they are forced to rely on the cheap and notoriously unreliable courier “Evri”, it goes missing and ends up at auction after 3 months.

Yes I’m sure the bbc will endanger an artists life to save a few seconds, don’t be ridiculous

Artists always live "dangerously".

A heavy camera fell on Britney´s head when she was filming the "dancing on the floor" scenes of "Oops!...I Did It Again".
Look at how P!nk´s been performing (she´s basically doing acrobatics - several metres above the stage). ...

SVT/BBC/EBU will double, triple make sure that everything´s working before letting anoying on stage.
