I bet 20 pounds on Lorene a few weeks ago to win melfest before I heard any songs because I’m a moron I feel slightly vindicated now but that’s more because the rest of melfest has been incredibly weak than anything else

First of all the 4th SF sounds very good. The best SF imo. Mariette's snippet is my favorite. I'm going to be honest, I'm not feeling Loreen's snippet. It's nothing special. I don't see her winning with a song like this but this is just a snippet. Maybe the full song is better.

+ prechorus is quite similar to Robin Bengtsson - Constellation Prize and Molly Sandén - Youniverse
"Tattoo" is good, but is still within the same mold as most of the Melodifestivalen songs this year. I suppose that's what you get when the same songwriters (such as Jimmy "Joker" Thörnfeldt and Thomas G:son) have their fingers in many pies. "Hold Me Closer" would've nuked it from orbit if it competed this year. Alas, this is the best MF can offer this year.
Mariette's "One Day" is probably her weakest attempt so far, I'm not feeling that snippet at all.

Tattoo sounds good but I have such a bias against break-up songs. Don't do this to me, Loreen...
As a side note, it interests me that a lot of people don't like her non-singles much. I love Ride, it was probably my most played album of 2021 (when I first discovered it).

I have been killing myself to know what it sounds similiar to. Mystery solved for me!!!
sadly gotta agree. the snippet is not bad by any means (i'm just not a fan of of the oo-oo-oo) but statements had me on the edge because it was so awesome. and this is nice and her voice just melts me but it's not that impressive. but i love her and i'm excited to hear the full song
overall by far the strongest heat imo
and i think its pretty strange that this semi is much stronger than all the others and that there are - judging from the clips - no really bad songs in this heat (while there were looots of bad songs in every other heat).
theres no single song in here that i would completely rule out to advance. maybe mera mera mera but i think every song could potentially make it to AC.
just listened to loreen on my better speakers and i felt it much more there, so yea the excitement is alive

It sounds like something that would definitely be popular here.
no joking, seriously if she can pull this off live vocally and with a great stage presence i could even see her winning the heat aswell, especially being the youngest in the competition. not sure about all the backing vocals though.
something about loreen makes me afraid people might not get her and i don't think they want her (or don't want to "grant" her) a second time, she's sooo good but too special for the average viewer

I am not convinced by heat 4. 4 songs are absolute Melfest fillers, Smash into Pisces sounds like a UMK reject. Loreen has a nice song but it doesnt scream Melfest winner and Mariette’s song is actually beautiful. She is my number 1 here, and Marcus/Martinus overall
