Yeah I always have to go to YouTube to listen to the old version! Not that I dislike the new version but it's just a bit overproduced while the original is perfect
Same with me and Loin d'ici without the EDM beat.

being very cringe at 43 years old, if you wanna be bouncing with your homies at 43 be my guest but youre going to sound ridiculous

I am 43 and I say for sure something like this for fun when I‘m around with friends. :ROFLMAO:
Yep, one big reason (at least for me) was Jana Burceska flopping HARD with "Dance Alone" the year prior. The studio version was fantastic but it completely fell apart live.

Dancing to the song with a baby bump was a bit… weird. And makes it’s much harder to sing AND dance AND breathe at the same time. It was no small bump after all.

:se:

Melanie was the best!
But I have to say I like „Air.
Many songs feel so dated and I‘ve heard them before (shameless copycats).

Before we hear the songs tomorrow I want to share what is my favorite Melodifestivalen moment ever: the audience screaming out their love to Loreen, on the finale night before she had won, at 0:30 while she is building up to the refrain. I've never seen anything like it in Melfest/ESC
I've never been to a Eurovision live show but I was in Globen in 2012 and what I experienced in there was so unique, it still gives me goosebumps. I remember when entering the building, I tried to hear the people around me and see who they prefer. Danny or Loreen. It felt 50-50. But when Sarah Dawn Finer started the introduction about Loreen, Globen went INSANE. I literally didn't hear a word of what Sarah said (I had to watch the video afterwards). They were screaming and applauding and I remember my palms getting red from clapping. She couldn't finish what she had to say and I'm pretty sure that introduction lasted more than what it was supposed to.

Incredible moment. That's when I was sure she was going to win coz up to this point I was a bit afraid of Danny. I wasn't in Baku but I really doubt the audience in Eurovision was as loud as the one in Melodifestivalen's final. Loreen winning MF is the most intense experience I ever had in a live event. I wish I could relive that night.

Loreen is a legend. Euphoria is iconic. I remember her performance at that dutch Eurovision show. The crowds energy when she sang Euphoria was insane. Her music in general is really good. "My heart is refusing me" was a bop. Euphoria was excellent. Statements was amazing, too. She deserved a much higher position with Statements. She has so many good songs in her catalogue. My favorite Eurovision winner.

Heat 4 Snippets

These cunts cut Loreen at the part where it was about to get interesting, noooooo. They know what they are doing...
But that was sounding veeery promising.

And I liked Mariette's snippet.

Loreens is good, kinda sounds like what I would've imagined for Delta if she represented us this year with a DNA song.

I can't believe I'm saying it, but I liked Mariette's snippet :0

I like songs 1, 3, 4 and 7. Seems like they might be the likely Qs.

Tattoo definitely sounds like it builds up, but the entire structure, progression even lyrics remind me of a classic Mello entry by the numbers. Euphoria and Statements felt like unique gems among the mello song, but with Tattoo I can hear it and then go "This is something id hear in Melfest". Loreen is doing the heavy lifting.

Snippet alone Tattoo is my no2 behind Air. I'll need the full version to decide. Sorry, L.

At least I have now I fave in Sweden's selection! I really like Mariette's song! It is nothing new for sure, but it still gives me goosebumps! The rest is so-and-so. Loreen's entry is okay, she has strong vocals as always, but it's too basic for me. But okay. Mariette is by far my favorite, so go, Mariette!

I keep replaying Mariette's snippet. I hopse so she is good live!

People here calling Loreen's snippet basic and Mariette's snippet sooo good.... xqueenbitch

I think it's quite the opposite. Don't get me wrong, I like Mariette as an artist and I enjoyed her past entries but this song is clearly her most basic effort so far. What is so wrong with Loreen's song though? In my opinion it's building in a very interesting way and based on the high expectations everyone is having in her, including me, I can say that I'm pretty much enjoying the snippet so far. Okay there is on thing that rather turns me off, the rest of the song seems to be very good: It's the you-ou-ou part. I'm not too keen on that. As an :at: this reminds me too much of Paenda's dreadful song from 2019 fo example. It's also just a very overused hook. But hey, they know what they are doing, this will stay in viewers heads instantly!
