Honestly, I don't like that Loreen is competing again. Maybe I'm too conservative but I just don't like when Eurovision winners go to Eurovision again (like Alexander Rybak). It's kinda weird when they go a second time and then flop.
I still find it bizarre how he won his semi final yet came.... 15th in the final

Well if the odds are to be believed its the same reason Tusse won in 2021, the singers personal story seems to be valued more than their song by the swedish public
Yup. I mean she is super sweet and nice but I don't want her to win just because of her story. Which by the way is set up in a way that will lock the viewers. In the introduction video she talks with Farah about random things but they end it by Maria saying how she moved to Sweden with her mom but her dad was left behind but it's ok coz they're all alive. And then Farah asks "who do you want to see in the audience that night?" and of course she replies "my dad. Yeah my dad." and the video ends. I mean come on!

I like the song. I like the performance. She deserves another chance or I will even accept a DTF. But winning the whole thing? No. We might not have a clear winner so far but we still have another 14 songs to go.

On another note, Tess is joining Magnus on "Not a sinner nor a saint" and I am fangirling like crazy! xcry :love::love: I loved them! My Alcazar!

I want Christer Björkman to come back! xlovexrose

It´s crazy, isn´t it?

I was really happy when Björkman left because I hoped for Melodifestivalen to start showing more aspects of Swedish music but what did we get (dubious rule changes and far worse and more generic entries).

He should have never qualified with that AWFUL song. How did anyone vote for that crap.

But so far Melfest has shown to be different, sob story wins not name recognition. So if Loreen is bad, she won't go. That's at least something.

Going back to Bjorkman won't change any of that. Anyone that thinks that is in denial. There needs to be a change in direction and emphasis on promoting more artists singing in Swedish in my opinion whether they are big names or newcomers.

For the record this is a much more interesting semifinal fo rme where the winner isn' yreally obvious especially with how well Theoz did in the rehearsal poll this afternoon.

Don't forget that he's from Linköping though so it's kinda obvious that his town will support him just because. But ok, the song is uplifting so he would get votes anyway.

I remember being very distraught about the Bubble loving Behöver inte dig idag back in the day, cause I didn’t emote to it at all. It was mediocre at best to me. So it’s saying a lot that she would be my personal winner BY FAR (!!!) of both heats this year.

Based on the rehearsal footage, I'd say the results will be:

DTF - Maria Sur & Theoz
AC - Wiktoria & Panetoz
5th - Tennessee Tears (will be close between them and Panetoz for the other AC place)
6th - Eden
7th - intense older bloke that made me uneasy

Check us being all in agreement almost. I can't wait to see the Linda Bengtzing and Magnus Carlsson medley - remind me of a time when I actually enjoyed Melodifestivalen

Wiktoria is always amazing, but i have high suspicions that this year's MF is a set up for L*****

I actually love Wiktoria's song, great opener! Don't think it's worthy of the bad reviews it's been getting.
