Whatever people think of the song the staging in the NF is lovely. It will be changed for Eurovision right? How will this be done?

You might be right about me, but I think you underestimate Jonkonfui. I think he would have contributed with an on-topic post about meeting a guy with a tattoo in a gay sauna in Barcelona at 4 a.m. on Sunday morning who would have mentioned to him that he likes Loreen’s song Tattoo.
He still pops up in the wiwibloggs comment section now and then being just as insane as usual

We should keep talking about Loreen and strudel in this thread. If enough people get involved, someone might ask her about strudel in an interview.

I imagine it like this: When being interviewed about her culinary preferences, she will say that she loves strudel and that the Austrians should vote for her. The Austrian commentator will then point out that Loreen loves strudel during the postcard and Sweden will get 24 points from Austria this year. Loreen will win with a narrow lead of only a few points ahead of runner-up Austria all thanks to declaring her love for strudel.

Well, she is not getting 12 points from the Austrian OGAE club though. She got landslided by another country. So, they should definitely bribe Andi Knoll to mention the strudel thing and sway the voters.

Here is the most recent rambling of Jonkonfui I could find "Eurovision IS to gays what football IS to straights but Eurovision hooligans are much more dangerous."

I miss his nonsense on here

You're stuck on me like a tattoo - oo - oo and I am desperate for laser removal
Try a Brazilian, it might help you get rid off me.

While Sweden is one of my favourites this year, I realized why I don't really want it to win for the sole reason that It would be the least authentic winner since 2015 (Sweden again) and I don't want that streak to end now.

Tattoo has that 'made by the numbers' feel, which isn't something I can strongly say about any winner since 2015.

I thought Toy was made for the numbers, sorry xshrug it just felt like scientists had studied Eurovision and came up with a foolproof song that would go viral. Something about it is just too clinical when it comes to Eurovision madness: compare it to Trenelutul that is a bit more rough around the edges and thus super charming. I never saw any deeper musical essence in Toy (even though I appreciate the feminism message).

Alright about Loreen. Something about a new outfit (with special effects?) and that there will be a solution to the heavy screen problem

I will have to disagree. Have you heard the Toy demo? Netta gave life and soul to that song in addition to her signature style.

I think they'll rely on overhead shots. Loreen teases on screen graphics too I think.

What I like most about this: the musical intro. Really really great and captivating.
What I miss the most: a better hook. The oh-oh-oh is kinda worn out after a few repetitions

i still don't think this will win. i guess it will do well with the juries (1-3) but i don't think she will win the televote (top5 max), i think outside the fan community this is rather seen as a copy and paste attempt or songwise not as... special as other entries this year (i still really really like it, but i can't see why it's the big favourite. and people are not nice, they would not want to "grant" somebody a 2nd victory either). maybe i'm wrong but i can't see it happening

80 % of her 650.000 streams per day come from outside of Sweden. Finland has around 150.000 streams per day and only 50 % of them come from outside of Finland. :)
