No need to apologize
'Cause there’s nothing to regret
Well, this is not what I wanted
Guess all the good things come to an end

So baby bye, bye
Wish you the best
But most of alI I wish that I could love you less
Well, maybe you're right
I'll find someone else
You say it isn't me, but when did that ever help?

Hold me closer
Although you'll leave before the sunrise
I'll be bleeding, but don't you mind, I'll be fine
Oh, it kills me
I found the right one at the wrong time
But until the sunrise
Hold tight, hold tight

Maybe it happened too fast
I guess that I understand
You say that you've never felt this way for anyone
And that's why it scares you to death

So baby bye, bye
Know it's for the best
Still I can't see how that would ease the pain in my chest

Hold me closer
Although you'll leave before the sunrise
I'll be bleeding, but don't you, mind I'll be fine
Oh, it kills me
I found the right one at the wrong time
But until the sunrise
Could you just hold me tight?
I know, I have to let go, but just give me the night

'Cause tomorrow will hurt
Hurt really bad
'Cause I’m about to lose the best I ever had

Hold me closer
Although you'll leave before the sunrise
I'll be bleeding, but don't you mind, I'll be fine
Oh, it kills me
I found the right one at the wrong time
But until the sunrise
Could you just hold me tight?
I know, I have to let go, but just give me the night (Hold me tight, hold me tight)

Can't you see that you found the right one at the wrong time?
It was just the wrong time
Hold tight, hold tight

Uuh... I’m not Swedish, but I was born there. The suffix -dotter is fairly common as a middle (or third) name. In this case Jakobsdotter is her third given name (Jakob’s daughter). Samuelsson is the family’s surname, and as pointed out already, probably from several generations ago.

As a surname -son or -dotter typically does not mean that you are the child of a person with that name, while that is still common in Iceland.

There are 21 persons with the given name Jakobsdotter in Sweden. There are a few in Finland as well, but so few that they can’t give the exact amount. The Finnish Jaakontytär (daughter of Jaakko) is one of the given names of roughly 60 finns.

E.g. Larsdotter is a more common given name with 1629 in Sweden, since Lars is one of the more common male names overall.
It blows my mind that Icelandic people are traditionalist enough to keep up with their custom of nearly always giving a surname directly on your dad's first name. -son being a male ending and -dottir a female one.

I have listened to the whole song (and that is a first) and i end up with a 'i dont understand the world' feeling... Is that really so wow? I think she struggles, the music is too high and sometimes it is difficult to hear her and at the end of some verses she seems out of breath... And then the song is quite meh for me.It is just another cheesy ballad like a thousand others. But if people find it so awesome then i suppose I am one who is wrong (i write this because i am trying to be a better and humbler forum participant but deep inside what i really think is that I am wrong my ass and your taste in music is pfff).

Then no. That cannot be. If you agree with me now I think the opposite... Hold me now and Cordelia (are there many Cordelias in Sweden??) is a masterpiece and I love it. My number 1.

Cornelia - Hold me Closer

Sorry, just had to be the correcting pest I aspire to be.

Cornelia? Sounds like the name of a cow... Cordelia sounds better. Hold me closer, hold me now... More or less the same. It is just a polite way of saying f***k (i mean 'fuck', can I write this? If not please just read f***k) me like an animal.

There are 6,269 Cornelias. But only 106 Cordelias. (I'm sure they're all tired of hearing 'did you say Cornelia'.)
In North Europe you use many weird names like this. I used to live in Holland and there people were called Henricus or Adolfus or things like that. How high can a father be to name his son Antonius? Dont use drugs people or you might end up calling your baby something weird.

I am out of breath?
well your postings suggest that heavily!

- you double quote
- you don‘t finish sentences but
- you smush them together
- your language is very emotional
- you‘re often choose the wrong register

all of which shows that you‘re emotionally or in other ways stressed. Stressed people mostly are out of breath

Sweden already moved one up in my ranking. I‘ve been literally listening to the song all day.
