If Sweden was a flop, so was North Macedonia. What does it matter anyway? Winning jury and ending in top 6 is amazing and I'm sure John is proud. :)

Wow, OK I'll try to explain this in simplest way possible for u to understand me. Sweden won jurry and they still finished outside of top 5. That's called flop. Sweden was in top 3 of all 40 countries with discrepancies between jurry and televote pts. With jurry they got 230 pts and with televote 90 pts. That's called flop. Especially, since Sweden is always expected to win or finish in top 3 at least because of jurry and because u have that renome. Diff story would be if it was San Marino, then even top 10 sounds like massive result. Have a nice day!

Oh, you're serious? I thought you were ironic or something...

First, learn how to spell jury... or spell in general

Secondly, it's not a flop with televotes to end up in the top. 10, regardless of your personal theories or whatever... discrepancies or not ... just deal ... someone is really bitter apparently that Sweden manages to end up top. 10 with televotes almost every year in a decade

Yes! Macedonia also flopped with televote, especially because they finished 2nd with jurry and they still finished just 8th because of flop with televote who put them outside of too 10. But Macedonia doesn't have jurry on their side to put them on 1st place every year like Sweden. Therefore, u always expect from Sweden to finish at least in top 3 cause they already have jurry on their side. Therefore, mkd flopped, but it wasn't so big flop as with swedes, esp because discrepancy between jurry and televote wasn't that big as with Sweden.

Well, I'm not so sure that John is proud as u mentioned, because when televote results came, his face was in sadness, disbelief and there are already memes all over Internet about that moment and his face.

I definitely didn't expect them to score that low with the public as Benjamin. I wouldn't have been rightful. Too late for love is a great song, yet #1 was overstated (and I still feel the juries always vote in favour to Sweden, but that's not the artist's fault, I felt that he is again the scapegoat for someone being megalomaniac... like Benjamin last year.)

Overall, with the public vote, Sweden made a truly deserved 6th place, this is where I would have put him too if I was an objective juror. John Lundvik is such a lovable person and it was cruel to shock him when they showed his face when revealing the televote. I felt him so much. Painful!

Wait, can someone explain to me what renowned flirt did mans have with eleni back in 2016 before he met his wife?

BTW, I know mans is dying to come to esc to compete and to come every year and he already said it. So let Sweden send anyone in 2020 except him, literally ANYONE except him. xpukexpukexpukexpukexpuke

We can never get rid of him, can we? :?

What's most funny with Måns is that no one literary cares about him in Sweden any longer, even I get surprised each time he is brought back to promote himself in ESC, he has like no music career left, the only hits he had was from MF and maybe some random other song earlier on but other than that he is really struggling to maintain a music career, he is randomly releasing some singles every now and then but no one cares, and he is more like a celebrity than some actual popular singer in Sweden these days. I mean he is a household name here, but mostly for winning ESC and for hosting one of our largest annual entertainment shows, but I think that's hardly an accomplishment for someone with the ambition to become a popular singer.

That doesn't comfort me. He already said he is waiting to invite him again for esc 2020 for some role and he also said he is planning to return to esc to compete, but probably not next year because he wants really good song that will resonate this time with public as well. We just can't get rid of him, I guess. There are so many other winners, but they stick only to him. Why loreen doesn't get invited so often?

I guess that would be for the 2020 thread, I can see Måns as a host, I don't mind, he is good at that... he has the looks and charisma, I guess he can sing, problem is that as a singer he is generic and conventional and I guess that's why he didn't maintain a good singing career.

Loreen, she is talented, in fact she should be one of our biggest exports but I think she made some career mistakes and she also seems to have a personality that robs people the wrong way, she is not very good at branding herself unfortunately which is important in Pop music.

He annoys me too. He is the weakest winner together with Emelie de Forest and Ell & Niki. I am still traumatized he won.

And his version of Fuego had no fire at all. Least impressive of song interpretation of the four. I think he recognizes that in order to stay relevant he only has the Fan bubble where many, not all, fans drool over his looks.

I don't think the Dutch need Mans to pimp up their show. They are not as desperate as BBC.
I cringed when he sang a medley of British Eurovision songs at "You decide".

But you are right, fans would be dying for Euphoria realness. Remember how the audience erupted when Filomena Cautela mad her funny Euphoria dance.

Well, every esc fan loves loreen. Mans on the other side has a lot of haters as well as fans.

Mans could only be a host if Sweden wins again, but he already hosted it. Doesn't Swedish svt and audience have anyone else who could do that job. It doesn't have to be petra mede & mans every single time. Sweden is not San Marino that doesn't have big number of entertainers. What about Sarah Dawn Finner? She is so hilarious and everyone loves her. He has look? The question is what kind of look. He has charisma though, too bad he is a homophobe.

I actually don't remember all the shenigans of Filomena, but I do remember 2014 host nikolaj grabbing his cohost's assch*ek. assi azar and 2014 hosts were the best.
