I like his personality a lot. He is a good performer as well. But nevertheless the song is very mediocre to me.

My favourite this year along with Switzerland, Netherlands and Italy. So much great energy in this song and it really comes alive live.

We will NOT win. John & the Mamas will do very good, but it's not a full package - unless the Mamas manage to step up like they did in Melodifestivalen. It's a subtle difference though. In an unsure position I'd rather have Iceland to win. :)

Just speak out, there are better songs you think right? I agree ;)

That 2nd reherseal was amazing!
Winner altert! Especially since the other contenders have been quite weak.
John also won the press poll with 40 points more than the 2nd.

I really think we can win, but at least top 3. :)

I need him to smile during the part when everything goes black and he's alone
Otherwise this looks like a potential winner to me :D

I really appreciate it that the :se: delegation obviously liked the :at: entry and staging from last year...

I liked the darker Staging better.

Well, I don't see :se: winning. I would like since I think they are the best country of the last decade (the results confirm it), and this song is in my Top 10...

Even if John wins jury voting, I don't see him finishing in the top 5 of the televoting. And I wouldn't be shocked if he finished out of the Top 10 among the televoters too.

I just think that last Christer win should be something spectacular. :D I like John and love gospel and if the Mamas could make the last piece to a complete act, I'd be happy: But it's a live act and the song will struggle to reach out on its own.

It was way too dark, you could hardly see John and "the Mamas"

This is the best possible on this stage.

And everyone here needs to calm down, we won´t win but we will do very well in the jury voting and probably 3-7th in the televoting, and the reason why I think that a high televoting placing is possible is because of Johns charisma and the choir, he really connects with the viewer and you should never underestimate that aspect.

I´m not saying that he 100% will do well in the televoting but I wouldn´t be surprised if he really did finish high in televoting

Why would this do so bad in the televoting?

I'm still not a fan of the staging, but the song performance was incredible.

I know I will step on many toes when I´m saying this but I guess it has to do with grudging against us in general in this competition the latest years, like last year when many fans said we wouldn´t even qualify for the final, reason? They didn´t like it

It´s sad that some fans really can´t distinguish personal taste and facts/what you think is realistic. (No I´m not saying that you are forced to like or say that our song will do well and so on)

darkaps post above is a perfect example of what it should sound like in the discussion for every country if having any opinions about this or that. The atmosphere would be much better for all

The fact that Sweden is followed by Austria in the running order is quite fostering for Sweden but also for Austria. It is the first climax of this semifinal, because both songs will click and bond with the audience, while the other songs go into one ear and come out of the other. I am curious about tomorrow's rehearsals, but I don't realize any of the upcoming songs has this bonding quality. Maybe the Netherlands, but not for me tbh.

For Sweden, it is particularly nice, because Sweden fatigue is real and sterile pop does not bring it anymore. Soul was the missing ingredient and they found and added it, hallelujah.

Yeah sure.. first climax of this semifinal. Forgetting that Switzerland exists?
