John said they would add more light and glamor and they sure did!
And to be honest John has outclassed all the others, not only today but so far with his charisma and stage presence!

One small thing I thought about was that big gold light, it was not perfect, but maybe it will look better on TV.

Overall it all looked and sound amazing, and the rewies seems to be very positive. Apparently the press room applaud him after his rehersal.

Winner wibes? Yes maybe. :)

Wouldn't mind if ESC is in Sweden next year as I really wanna go
and the Grand Final in 2016 was spectacular... xlove

Wouldnt mind another swedish Victory, since ESC would be in good Hands, but realistically I think he wont get 150+ Televotes, so even if he wins the Juryvote with 350 Points, he wont win overall.

You never know in this competition, I really didn´t see :pl: getting 3rd in the televote 2016 coming for example

Exactly everything can happen in this competition and that´s why we all like it so much

Realistically speaking, yes! This one might end up 5th place at worst. Not winning, but indeed being placed on top. I'm sure Sweden will get a ton from the juries, but how much? With the competition from jury-friendly entries like Netherlands, Italy, Australia, Austria and even Malta which could prevent Sweden from getting 300+ jurypoints. We can still be first in the ranking though.

With the televoting? Maybe 9th-6th place seems right without being winning material.

After this performance I could see this winning, we will have to see how Duncan's rehearsal goes!

I'd rather have Sweden than The Netherlands winning as the first one is in my top 10 while i'm still searching for what's special in the second one.

Very interesting, I was a bit concerned if John would do well with the televotes but my doubt has been very lowered, with that big smile and energy and the amazing "Mamas" It´s gonna be tough to withstand it without smiling yourself

A wide open competition now, especially since both :nl: and :ru: didn´t meet the expectations while :az: and :se: surprised

Sweden is now back to #4. This year is really very open.

Indeed and this is just what ESC needs, let´s hope it will be a really nervwracking voting too as much as 2003 as possible

I see 4-5 countries right now that could win

It shifts all the time

I said it earlier this year and I repeat it: when there's no clear favorite (or many who could not be ruled out for the win), then it's Sweden who takes the crown. ;)
And I would be very satisfied if this would be the actual outcome.

I doubt so. If the general public is going to replicate what they did to Sweden last year, I can't see Sweden winning.
Plus, this year there are many jury-friendly songs. Besides Sweden, I can see The Netherlands, Italy, Greece and even Azerbaijan fighting for the jury points.
Even Slovenia/Austria (if either qualifies), Israel and Albania/Serbia/North Macedonia (if any of them qualifies) snatching the jury votes due to uniqueness of the entry or vocal capabilities of the singer.

And personally, I do not wish to see Sweden win with this song, which basically brings nothing to the competition as it is just a perfectly staged generic song.

I think The Netherlands is still going to win it in the end (but it could be a very marginal win). Or Italy if they get the staging right.
