The only thing I'm f***ing, is stupid
They have been around 9-11.00 for quite some time, so I would say they are steady which was expected since he is not in the winning race but has decent chances of a good score

Indeed, but this thread is quite inactive so I had to spark some intensity as John has already done his rehearsal. The discussion is not as lively for this one unfortunate, or is it?

I would say, it´s nice and relaxing for once since the thread about our song is always filled with opinions every year ;)

One thing is certain, the YT clip from the official Eurovision account on his rehearsal will have 3-400 dislikes within the first 10-15 min just because it´s us

Why change the dark MF version? What's that cheap light led animation behind on screen?
If this wasn't Sweden I would've lowered the winning chances.

I think it's not constructive criticism when people just blame the artist or the people of a specific country like many do for Sweden and Russia. Even though I'm critical how respective head of delegations select their entries which result in weaker songs getting unfairly rewarded, one-sided criticism is not the solution here.
Giving Christer Björkman suggestions on how to improve and not focus entirely on profit is better than to blatantly post "Sweden? Yes!"-memes to flame Sweden as a Eurovision country.

Because it's a positive and uplifting song, therefore more lighting is certainly needed - the melfest version is great though
you know remember Australia last year going for a black/white theme with a song called "We Got Love" - it probably comes across as a bit odd for the viewers back home
I think Sweden's still got the same chances to do well, I don't believe the rehearsals today hurt their changes at least

I liked the darker version better too cause it highlights very well the light behind him. But if they're gonna keep the "warm" colors I'd love for them to add a more warmer tone and attenuate the colder tone cause there is some for whatever reason maybe for the real camera work (I can't help to see it, working with colors all day long). The backing vocalists are more put forward too which is good idea btw.

A great rehearsal for John it seems! Vocally spot on of course. And they didnt change much from the MF. But I like that the Mama's are a bit more visible now.
As expected a very good performance from John and the swedish team.
And again; I think this is so much better live than just listening to the recorded song. I am still not a big fan of the song.

He and the backings are great, the performance is really good! BUT, the song is not a winning one and there are other countries that deserve to win this year.

John said they would add more light and glamor and they sure did!
And to be honest John has outclassed all the others, not only today but so far with his charisma and stage presence!

One small thing I thought about was that big gold light, it was not perfect, but maybe it will look better on TV.

Overall it all looked and sound amazing, and the reviews seems to be very positive. Apparently the press room applaud him after his rehersal.

Winner wibes? Yes maybe. :)

Wouldnt mind another swedish Victory, since ESC would be in good Hands, but realistically I think he wont get 150+ Televotes, so even if he wins the Juryvote with 350 Points, he wont win overall.

You never know in this competition, I really didn´t see :pl: getting 3rd in the televote 2016 coming for example

Exactly everything can happen in this competition and that´s why we all like it so much

Realistically speaking, yes! This one might end up 5th place at worst. Not winning, but indeed being placed on top. I'm sure Sweden will get a ton from the juries, but how much? With the competition from jury-friendly entries like Netherlands, Italy, Australia, Austria and even Malta which could prevent Sweden from getting 300+ jurypoints. We can still be first in the ranking though.

With the televoting? Maybe 9th-6th place seems right without being winning material.
