Some people never learn... xfacepalm xfacepalm xfaint xgaah

But if we shall play that game it´s many differences, Anna B was not the 6 juries favorite in MF 2010, she was seen as a borderline entry in the tough semi 2, which you really can´t say that Lundvik is

But this is the kind of arguments that really pisses me off

Yeah no need to be negatively biased SE fans! There are people who recognize that Sweden is succesful in ESC because they produce high quality music.

Gosh I don’t even want to imagine the fact if Sweden sent Eleni and «Fuego» and then Tamta and «Replay» the next year lol
Sure Sweden’s been sending the same genre of music for many years now but their songs aren’t a blatant copy of each other like Fuego and Replay

And no one seems to care about the fact that Eleni and Tamta aren’t citizens of Cyprus by any means? I mean Eleni’s from Albania and Tamta from Georgia if I’m right?
That debate would’ve certainly been a good one xlol

Yeah but both Eleni and Tamta have big careers in Greece. So since they have made their careers here they can represent us in Eurovision too.

It would be most hilarious to see the double standard in many fans eyes in that case

Sorry, but I have the tags outward after these latest years

Maybe it's time for you to chill out. Playing the aggressive defender for Team Sweden must be very exhausting.

A very relevant question is then:
What is it to you? Why do you feel the need to rant and stir up emotion? Well, actually spoil the fun for others in fact?

I am just pissed off with defensive Swedes. Doesn't mean that I'd downgrade "Too late for love" for them.

And I´m very pissed off that many fans can´t behave like grownups, we Swedes get so much shit in the fanbase, it´s not funny, which many times are not legimate at all. If those fans could behave like grown-up people and not like whining 5 years olds that just got their candy taken from them when it comes to our entry each year, it would have made everything easier and we wouldn´t be defensive.

Comments like: "Sweden is always overrated with the juries" "Sweden is a overrated country overall" and personal attacks on our participant (the hate against Benjamin gone way too far last year) makes me and other Swedes quite pissed off, is it so hard to just judge the song without all these unnecessary shit throwing.

This is not against you personally Ezio, I´m just explaining simple the reason why I and many other Swedes are defensive

Treat others the same way you want to be treated yourself

Please follow your own advice then. You are returning a lot of sh't to the "fanbase" as well and every post is an aggressive rant against haters, that you see everywhere.

I don't listen to Swedish pop, it is just not my cup of tea, I don't approve of Heroes winning, it was a wasted opportunity for Italy. In recent years, the actual results for Sweden and my personal taste could not have been more far apart.

And I don't think the Swedish power grip on Eurovision is funny at all. Every edition feels the same already - flat and stale. I hope Eurovision recovers from it after Sand and Björkman.

Still, this year, I have Sweden as my number one, which is unfortunate at the same time for the haters and the haters' haters, but I cannot change my taste, just because the song is the Swedish entry.

Well, this problem which would be ridiculous to say you're not unaware of isn't about you like a song or not. Besides, wouldn't it be more rewarding for you if you focus on the songs you like instead? Just because you personally don't mind mocking rants about anything Swedish doesn't mean it isn't a problem for others. You may not care about others and respect their expectations and wishes. But then you can not be surprised to be challenged. If your agenda is political, please post in the appropriate section, then you just might be taken seriously and be able to discuss your issues with Sweden.

This posting was really funny, because it has nothing to do with my intentions. It is just a projection of what's in your head: enemies of Sweden.

Bisharas Song grew extremely to me. Looking back, I wished he won MF.

What I just think it’s funny is the fact that people feel entitled enough to say how juries should vote whenever Sweden do well lol
Like sorry but you have Italy, Armenia and Russia as your top 3 and then someone blatantly accused you for ranking these songs too high because they don’t agree with you even though you genuinely think Italy, Armenia and Russia are the best

Sweden sends songs in the same genre almost every year with a very good show and the juries award them for a reason not because it’s «Sweden», because honestly who the hell has such far-fetched thoughts these days? They follow a clear pattern so why are everyone so surprised when they do well year after year...? Pop music = popular music , no???
And to be honest you all make it sound like every jury member ranks Sweden at the top every single year which is not the case

Yeah there is no rule that a country should send different gerne every year and we should very happy about that. But i think that Sweden 2018 and Sweden 2019 are two completely different songs. They have nothing in common. ''Too late for love'' is closer to Austria's ''Nobody but you'' than ''Dance you off''.

No sense in being rude. If I understand you right, your issues are political and one of your concerns is you believe the policies of EBU is somehow controlled by Sweden. Fine, instead of trashing the Swedish season thread, open your own thread in the political section and state your opinion, possibly with a poll with different options. That way you can argue for your beliefs among like-minded without annoying others.
