When watching the Eurovision on TV or live you may get the impression that Eurovision fans are very open-minded, loving and happy people. In here though, you will realize that they are just about as hateful, disrespectful, trash-talking and full of shit as everyone else seems to be these days. Not only is the song worth bringing all the worst in people, now the 17-year old singer is apparently an asshole too. Just... wow!

So my favourite Wiktoria didnt Save Me tonight. But Frans was actually my number 2. I dont understand the hate here. It's not like the swedish MF was filled with diamonds and pearls this year... If I Were Sorry is a tranquil, nice little piece of music.

That guy is born in 1998.. he is basically a kindergarten kid and already on ESC stage  Sorry... The time is passing by at a speed that I can't keep up with. I still live in 2004

Okay, back to topic: Good choice Sweden, I can absolutely tolerate this song. Let's be honest, it's nothing special.. then again, it actually is special that Sweden try their luck with a more down-to-earth entry compared to all these Loreens and Mans. It's a nice, sweet, catchy song. Most probably not among my favorites but for ESC standards this is decent quality. 6 points.
Anyway, I think Sweden will fall in the odds... I don't see this song doing well. xthink

David's song wasn't perfect but there were worse songs than his, how possibly could he have the least votes from public?

Sorry but we are trashing the song not the singer.

A few pages back in this thread, there were also some singer trashing. How media hate him because he's so rude and stuff. Just go back and read for yourself.

That is not trashing. That is people's perceptions of him, at least those who have met him in person. As somebody said, it could be because he's introverted and uncomfortable with the attention or it could be exactly that. People are allowed so share their thoughts on an artist, even if it's not a flattering one.

i'm surprised that the song is THAT hated. Yes, I agree it's one of the weakest Swedish efforts in many years but Sweden rarely ever ends up being one of the least favorites. The Like/Dislike ratio on YT is craze 377 likes vs 705 dislikes.

TBH, I think most of the hate is because it beat plenty of much better songs. Give it a week or so and people will have warmed to it

That is trashing, and even though people are entitled to have opinions, the hatred in this thread scares the shit out of me. No wonder the world looks like it does when people can get going like this for a song in freaking song contest.

To be honest, this kind of entry is perfect for a year when you are Pre-Qualified. You can afford to go for something a bit more understated or subtle since you don't need to worry about a qualification.

And since so many people on this forum think we're winning and hosting way too often (I can understand that feeling), you should be happy we're sending this then since so many seem to think we're going to flop anyway. ;)

Geez, if this is scaring the shit out of you, everyday life must be really scary for you indeed.

If any kind of criticism equals trashing then yes, everyone is trashing this song. But in the real world it's still criticism.

Sweden, San Marino and Poland are like a family of zeros. San Marino is the father, Poland is the mother and Sweden is the child.

(I think this comment is appropriate considering the time and weekday.)

We're getting off topic, but oh yes! There are just too many Trumps in this world.

But for now, I just want to enjoy this show. Listen to the songs I like and don't care about the ones I don't. I'm not gonna have opinions about people I've never met. That works for me.

Not my thing this but I imagine it will do well, maybe even win, it is the hot favourite after all. What's you're secret Sweden? 3 victories in 5 years :p

Frans gets 8 points from me.
