Haha, my friend Ida who loves Eurovision as much as I do was watching the, uh, (eftersnack) aftershow of Melodifestivalen and Christer said that Sanna had great chances of winning but he don't think Sweden can afford to host it again.

On one of the pressconferences in Copenhagen Christer said that this is not a problem, and Sweden will host for sure if they win. So it's totally out of question.

I wouldn't expect SVT is very keen, but I think it's very likely they could do it for about the same budget as 2013 in Globen (Friends would be more expensive I think). Budget was record low at SEK 125 million (EUR 14 million).

Yeah I actually don't want us to host unless we spend like Baku did!
We love Eurovision so much, why can't we show it with all the money we have?

SVT's budget is annual and if the could affort it in 2013, they could also do it again in 2015 without a problem. So Sweden, start the preparations NOW!

I don't know about the rest of Sweden, but I'm very pleased with the result. I think it turned out perfect for us. Sanna got rewarded for a splendid performance and The Netherlands for a great effort and on top of that we got ourselves an epic winner!
