Sweden SWEDEN 2014 - Sanna Nielsen - Undo

Sanna was my top favourite last night! I said after she won Melodifestivalen that she would have a real shot, and while the song may have fallen in ranking in the lead-up to the contest, her performance for me was just head and shoulders above everything else last night. My friend who I watched the contest with said after the final note "we've just watched the winner, haven't we?"

I voted for Sanna five times last night, and every vote was well worth it! Sweden remains my top Eurovision country, and I am so delighted that Sanna was finally able to make her dream come true and not only make it to the Eurovision final but also put in a performance that her whole country can be tremendously proud of.

Now to start the countdown to Melodifestivalen 2015 (really hope I can get tickets for my Aussie friend who is coming over to live the UK in the coming months!)

Maybe song isn't amazing but it's really good in this crappy edition. Sanna was great.

If Sanna would have wore a beard and spread some faux message about "love and understanding", she would have won... the song is down jury ally and far better than "Rise like a Phoenix"...

I must say i´m really proud of Sweden when it comes to Eurovision these days. We had some bad years for a while, but in the latest years we have really preform great results. Sweden is back as the dominant force in the Eurovision.

2011- 3rd place
2012- Winner! And the song with most 12 points ever!
2013- Host, although not a good result. But it is quite common that the host-country rarely get in the top.
2014- 3rd place again
2015- Winner?
