Uhm lol the dutch dude was the presenter guy, it was a comedy act :p

"Why are you laughing..."

"Nothing, I saw a rabbit!"

"Aah, yes, rabbits are funny!"

This little exchange was the funniest part of the whole script in MF 2014, and it was problem one of the very few parts that was unscripted. Go figure!

Bring back Sarah Dawn Finer & Gina for next year, pleeeeeease!! xpray

No way! I thought Ace was like 23 and Sanna was in her late 30's

Ace is 31 and Sanna is 29. I was just as shocked.

You have got to kidding me

But this makes it even worse. There's less time for Ace, while Sanna still has "virtually all the time of the world". Sanna could try again next year if even for the 8th time :|

I thought Ace was like 18 to like 20 or something. I'm so happy for Sanna Winning (mostly for the fact it was her 7th time)

Me too. I thought she was a teenager, late in her 10s (19 or so). For that reason I thought, OK Sanna doesn't have much youth left, let her do ESC then, lol.

Oh well. I'm sure Ace will still look "ace" when she tries to win MF for the....15th time or so. She'll be 46 then....

Really, a wasted opportunity last night. I can't thank the Swedes enough for it as it means less competition for Ilse and Waylon. There's always a silver lining to be seen xshrug.

Lol I was hoping on some level Ace would fail because there would be a greater chance of success for the UK.

.

I think the crooked Germans were thinking the same thing and hence gave her 0 points. Which implies they have high expectations from their own entry.

To rub some more salt in some people's wounds, I forgot this: someone with massive Eurovision experience told me last night (after the MF results) that Busy Doin Nothin would probably win Eurovision or at least end in the top 3. The Swedes have really shot in their own feet this time.

I'm sure she will come back next year and make all Swedes proud, at least I hope that..

If Ace comes back with a song as good or better, she will tear up the competition. Same with Linus.

To be honest I think Ace's would have been a tricky one to stage in ESC: she would have needed backing vocalists (for those "shouts" in the chorus) therefore fewer dancers or none at all.
I hope she'll be back too :D

Ace will do an Eric Saade next year, mark my words. She'll come back to MF stronger, more confident and will blow away the competition on her way to a top 5 finish. She just needs to spend this year finding her true self so that she can come back with a better song.

I totally agree with Celia - Busy Doin' Nothin' would sound rubbish "fully live", as the amount of pre-recorded vocals in the chorus of the song was insane. The same would have happened with Alcazar, although I definitely heard that they ramped up their live vocals last night. Sanna's track - although supported in the chorus - had the most clear live vocals throughout and would therefore need to change the least for the Eurovision stage.

And like I mentioned before, the obvious use of the #JoinUs diamonds hanging all around us was a clear omen from the start that she would be heading to Copenhagen. ;)

I would love to see Ace back but not too soon xshrug She'll get a big hit and album out of this it would be good if she could somehow turn it into a legit career :)

Besides "Busy Doin' Nothin'" was such a moment that she will never be able to come close to it at MF again :( I really can't see her come close to capturing the same magic again although I would love to be proven wrong ;)
