What do you think will she become popular in the world? :)

I have thought about it a lot actually and if you ask me, it's very simple: She's my music queen for life. Sounds melodramatic but it's probably true. :D No artist I've encountered have come remotely as close to my heart as Loreen. Seeing her perform creates a special nerve, an excitement that makes her act magic. Above that, all her acts are unique, there's always something different. When I saw her live in Karlskoga, we was surrounded and captured by Loreen's esoteric chanting to the powerful pulsing beat in "She's the one" - a rare wonderful experience. Loreen just makes me happy and hopeful. :)

Clearly I'm not the only one who thinks this way. Due to her very special personal touch, Loreen fans are of the long term faithful type. Say she has got 50-100000 of them at the moment (175k FB likes)? We are the patient, loyal and loving. Is she world famous right now? Will she be world famous next year? Undoubtedly, it will be the Loreen way and thus also my way, whatever it will turn out to. :)

There are rumours of a spectacular Loreen Europe tour after her album release, Loreen-spectacular not super expensive Lady Gaga/Madonna-spectacular. Will she be able to fill 35000 seat Friends Arena by herself? Will she team up with somebody for the tour? Arena or club gigs?

Or will she be touring churches and small clubs with an acoustic small string ensemble? As long as someone is filming her and publish on YouTube, I will be following her. :) (I actually prefer this alternative. :geek:)

Hi everyone, I'm new here, and this is the first post I comment here, just wanted to say that Loreen is AMAZING, that she deserves all the success in the world, the video was amazing, the performances were amazing, I was rooting for her from Portugal, and many people I know felt the same way too.

Loreen is one promising artist! I hope that her debut album comes out as she desires :D

Sorry, I didn't like this article at all. Is the author thinking she is writing for some fashion magazine? She didn't get it at all. For me, these early TV4 Idol performances are really painful to watch. Of course it is just a staged TV show, but even so unexpectedly cruel reality TV. At best, it shows Loreen's extraordinarily good singing talent. I would say the author made an extremely bad background research and compensates with speculation and pointless jokes. There are plenty of Loreen interviews with nice information if the author just have cared to listen.

xdownxdown:(:(

edit:
For example these two excellent documentaries made by SVT Melodifestivalen.

Reporter: There are a lot of people who are curious what you did between Idol and Melodifestivalen.
Loreen: Good! :D

edit2:
The she is apparently a he :D

Rare (not very good) Loreen interview by Nassim Al Fakir. They are standing in the TV/radio tower Kaknästornet in Stockholm. Originally published 2011-02-01 by TeliaSonera. Probably filmed early winter 2010/2011. Discovery and subtitles by Amanda Båhlström (tumblr). I love the way she speaks and how she teases (due to an unskilled and rather stupid Nassim Al Fakir). :D

"WIWIBLOGGS.COM - Eurovision 2013 news, polls and predictions — with attitude!" LOL

Eeee ... rather not actually. :( Seems to me there are far more attitude than news at wiwiblogs. A kind of twisted mix of facts and speculation, much like a tabloid style of reporting. Author Vebooboo Nadella seemingly a Finnish student at Harvard claims to speak all Scandinavian languages including Finnish. The article mocks Loreen for first celebrating the Belarus President at his dinner table and then sneak away to meet with the Belarus opposition. He then laughs at her fear to get discovered: "Oh, Loreen: an airport limo ride and several years in prison are two very different things". At the end the author adds Loreen actually didn't just talk, she donated some money as well. He congratulates the activists for their luck: "The defenders may not speak fluent English, but we’re pretty sure they felt euphoria after Loreen’s visit."
:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(xwhatxthink

The only source cited for this article is the American governmental broadcaster Radio Free Europe. I can conclude that the author also have read stories in the Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet.

Here are the known facts:
Loreen received Läkerol cultural award Voice of the year. Half of the prize money 50.000 SEK was donated to the non-governmental organization Civil Rights Defenders for support in Azerbaijan.

Loreen performed together with Alexander Ryback and the Buranovskiye Babushki at Slavianskiy Bazar festival in Vitebsk. Loreen donated half of the performance payment 75.000 SEK to Civil Rights Defenders for support in Belarus. She was criticized in the Swedish media for performing at all in Belarus.

Civil Rights Defenders and as I understand the Swedish embassy in Minsk organised meetings with Belarusian activists.

Charter97: Relatives of political prisoners wrote to Loreen and Loreen wished freedom to Belarusians.

Relevant Swedish media links:
Dagens Nyheter: Loreen skänker bort prispengar
Svenska Dagbladet: Loreen tar emot kulturpris and Loreen i hemligt möte med vitryska Vjasna
Sveriges Television: "Viktigt att markera på ett smart sätt"

Loreen is not a multimillionaire celebrity like Lady Gaga or Madonna. It's pretty obvious her donations is probably as much as she can afford.

My comment:
I don't get it. Why making fun of Loreen for doing something good? To me this appears as an easy and cheap way to create sensation without any purpose at all. Why bother spending time on writing twisted speculations when there is a real story to discover?

And no, I cannot find any story that confirms Loreen having dinner with President Alexander Lukashenko.:(

About the Slaviansky Bazar. It was the biggest disappointment in recent time. In no other country, nor in the same city, at any festival or concert, no one is so cold did not take Lauren. Moreover, her first time in her career included the track. In total, it went unnoticed, because the audience of Slaviansky Bazar is age 40+. No one has responded to meet Loreen and wife of political prisoner, just glad the oppositionists, who wrote a letter to her in advance (before festival). All the fans were very upset with her performance, so there is no desire to discuss this horror (Slaviansky Bazar), which once again confirmed the status of the worst of the festivals.

OK :(

I guess you mean, people think she used playback? I believe she used the same backtrack as in Melodifestivalen. She didn't bring her "dreamteam", the little string section, which is understandable. No special lights or any fog was used, which is strange. I cannot figure out why. Problems with TV producer?

I can understand if people are disappointed if they expected something as the performance in Baku.
