Oh, now I want to know what a PITA is. PM me if it's too inappropriate for the forum, even for horny Aleks or Tommy Salami

I've been thinking of last night. My experience of the act was completely different compared to Melodifestivalen. If I disregard the obvious that I suddenly hear base and a clear beat (I'm used to crappy computer speakers), there is something new and strange about the performance. I've come to the conclusion it is the camera angels that do the whole act experience. In the Melodifestivalen performance you never see the stage and the act is like a movie. This perception has disappeared in the Baku performance. You are aware she's on stage the whole time and the feeling of getting lost in a movie is gone.

I'm not saying it's a bad performance because it's not. I think the Baku performance is brilliant. It's just giving a different experience than the one from Melodifestivalen.

In this context I think I was being referred to as a Pain In The Arse rather than a Cherry Pie :D

O, don't worry, I've always thought you were more like a 'pita' than an al. A very hearty and very very traditional pita, the ones they can only make in small villages :D.

xyeah But to make it even worse i also think Loreen's dancing was far from fascinating. I think it'll be almost impossible to top her first performance in Melodifestivalen. She was rock-solid in that. Very convincing, but yesterday the magic almost disappeared xcry
I want the darker stage back, and she needs to be more energetic + the camera needs to catch more of her little detailed quirky dance moves.

I really loved her rehearsal performance. It was just outstanding. Everything about it was perfect. She will have gotten the best score from the jury, no doubt about it. I've actually come to like the Baku performance more and that has to everything with the final act. When she throws herself down the same time as the snow starts and that long camera shot. Just beautiful. Also it just feels grander for some reason. Finally, I now understand their thought about the slow mo effect they tried in MF but looks so much better here. She reaches a moment of clarity or with a better word, Euphoria mid air! Just so cool!!

Singing was good but I can't warm to this song as much as others here. The performance is just....eh....

I don't see it winning, and if it does it won't be by a big margin.

Loreen has now been on 1st spot on iTunes in the following countries: Sweden (ofc), Finland, Norway, Estonia, Lithuania and just now Greece and Cyprus!! Number 2 in Malta and 8 in Holland. UK and Germany around 80 but that has been steadily reaching higher and higher sales during the day.

Sweden will hopefully recieve 12 points from: Finland, Norway, Estonia, Lithuania and Denmark and perhaps Malta as well as Israel. 10 points from Cyprus and Greece, no doubt about it.

Yes, it was one of the most fantastic live performances I've ever seen - epic!
