Loreen first changed her clothes that she was going to have under Eurovision but when readers from Sweden had a protest she said that she '' maybe was going to change back ''

pretty much all of europe think loreen will win. does it matter ???? no....... i dont care that its a swedish song. loreen could have been from any other country, it dosent matter 2 me. its the song and the artist i care about.

but just to hammer it home euphoria has been on the charts in 15 different countrys its been no 1 in 5, in the top ten in 8, and its the most listened 2 song on spotify. all this has happend before its gotten any serious exposure, imagine whats gonna happen when all of europe gets 2 see it.

now if your choose to ignore all these facts and still come at us with your inept reasoning, then pretty please take your troilling ass elsewhere.

ps i knew you were a complete tool from the firt post i ever read of yours

Sorry to interrupt but what's with the personal attacks all of a sudden? Did he hit a nerve?
This post is the perfect example on why so many people wouldn't like to see Sweden winning.

Fair enough to be proud of your country, but some of you really act like Sweden succeeding in ESC is a matter of life and death. I'm on the edge of calling it nationalistic but I guess extreme patriotism is more like it.

PS. I'm feeling sorry for the cool swedes who have to suffer from the arrogancy of some of their fellow fans. This post wasn't aimed at you.

It's something we've been waiting a long time for. Since 2005, we've been a constant laughingstock at Eurovision.

2005: ******** entry about Las Vegas.
2006: Carola enters and gets joint 5th (6th after the tie break) due to name recognition. ******** song. Suspected corruption in Melodifestivalen.
2007: Glam rockers with really weird entry.
2008: A cat-alien-egyptian-korean who's had way too much cosmetic surgery scares the children.
2009: A good song, but bad performance and stage show kills it.
2010: Our biggest shame in Eurovision, ever. I knew it wasn't going to qualify.
2011: We get 3rd (2nd by televote only) because we sent a pretty boy with a "modern dance performance". Song sucks and we're still ashamed of ourselves (and Europe) for voting so much for him.
2012: For the first time since forever, we've got an entry we can be proud of, even if it doesn't win. It's a big favourite, it's got immense support and just about everything about it is great. Win or lose, we can stand tall and proud because we sent a high quality entry to Eurovision. It's our Lena!

Because it isn't.
Most Swedes here don't say anything about her winning. Most Swedes adore her - YES that is correct - and hope she will win. But most Swedes don't wan't to say anything about the outcome, we just hope (like many other members here hope for their country).
When I've counted up all opinions there are five Swedes who thinks she's going to win. When I 've counted all non-Swedes there are about 50 who think she's going to win.

agreed i think we are expressing a genuine sense of pride and happyness that we finally got it right for once.i think we all felt it in the swedish qualifications and when the finals hit then we certainly knew that we had something really special on our hands. even my mom and her sisters, they are all +60 lol, got caught up in the excitment.

ill be honest. ive been so disappointed with the swedish entries over the past 10 years, well except for lena ph in 2004. does anyone remember martin stenmark ?? freakin afro-dite,fame, friends, carola, and freaking pirelli winning with the worst song of all times in 99. alter all this crap, after carola beat out andreas johnson in 06 after all these disappointments, it just feels so god damn good having a song that i truly love for once.

i really dont care if this song wins im just happy that it is the swedish entry. it has revived my interest in eurovision and im proud that loreen is representing us in baku.

on another note even the norwegians are going crazy over loreen lol http://tv.nrk.no/serie/adresse-baku1 it starts 27 minutes in

Fair enough.
I don't really see how that list justifies anything though, because in that case a lot of countries should react like the Swedish fans do, that applies to this year as well as previous years. I for one probably would've reacted a lot more humbly if Denmark ever was to be predicted winner of a forthcoming ESC (not that it'll ever happen). Let's take Cyprus, they've had nothing but ****-results in the past but they don't even react remotely like you do.

Sweden has been no more laughing-stock than UK, Spain, Cyprus or Lithuania have, but you don't see Cyprus or Spain go all religious anyway. There's absolutely no reason to feel self-piteous.

I totally agree with you FallenAngel except that I truly liked Carolas song back in 2006 (and still do) :D

But I also understand No Name. Unfortunately It's the scandinavian Law of Jante who speaks here - Don't think you're anyone special or that you're better than us.
I hate Jante and here's his fucking retarded laws:

1.Don't think you're anything special.
2.Don't think you're as good as us.
3.Don't think you're smarter than us.
4.Don't convince yourself that you're better than us.
5.Don't think you know more than us.
6.Don't think you are more important than us.
7.Don't think you are good at anything.
8.Don't laugh at us.
9.Don't think anyone cares about you.
10.Don't think you can teach us anything.

It is really SAD and can kill spiritual development. And the purpose of the law is to keep a group of people homogeneous and quiet so they can work together without big controversy.
I’m glad a lot of today’s teenagers don’t listen to these idiotic laws. Unfortunately I’m still in Jantes claws.

Had actually expected you to point out the totally out of place, pokemon-themed stage-background but this'll do too.

Don't have the patience nor time to browse through 200 pages of bitchfight between you two. You're really not that interesting.

If you really have so much national pride as you claim you wouldn't let a single person's comments make you burst out in personal attacks like that. Proper reaction would be just to ignore it.

Ar you kidding? The Master Ball was the only good part of that performance.
