It's the first time in years I couldn't watch Melodifestivalen and I was really shocked they have chosen this. Next year I'll watch again.

You know, I almost always avoid saying that a certain song will win, because it heavily depends on your personal taste. But with "Kom", I dare to say, if it had been selected, it would bring the trophy to Sweden..

Yeah i agree.

Timoteij, Eric or Salem would've been much much better. Since semi 2 is full of ballads any of those 3 would, imo, stand out, and this will just drown in this ballad pool, I think i wouldn't like it even if there were less ballads generally. It just makes me fall asleep.

Eric's song is pathetic and Salem is almost a ballad so Zzzz...

Timoteij would be good though, but I don't know how the juries would react on that one.

Seriously we didn't have much good to chose from in the final (as most of the entries were crap) and Anna was really the 2nd best (after Timoteij)... but then again, I think the juries would prefer Anna to Timoteij so the situation is not that easy..

Anna has a special ballad though, with authentic feeling and voice and not some random typical Eurovision ballad..

Whatever happens with Sweden in Oslo, I am proud of our choice!
We have been sending old-fashioned Schlagersongs for ages, and now finally we are trying with something slightly different from us. We are after the rest of Europe already, so we must chance with something new, and this time we took a ballad in a slight country-style. Too bad it is the ballad year this time, but still we must take a chance to get success!

Let's compare us to Norway, Before we were often doing much better than Norway did, now it is the opposite. The reason for that: Norway has a culture of trying something different, something that hasn't has to be in ESC! Wig Wam, Maria Haukass even Rybak, are all something DIFFERENT and FRESH that stands out in the modern ESC. Martin Stenmarck, Charlotte Perelli and also Malena Ernman are all old-fashioned in some ways and doesn't appeal to everyone. Let us do as Norway and chance and hope it works with Anna Bergendahl!
Does it work we'll be very happy! Doesn't it, well there is always a next year to come!

Maybe she needs a new performance to make the song more memorable. I just don't want him to change the part where the backing vocalists get on stage behind Anna coz this is the most beautiful scene!!
